  1. Good morning!!

I decided to start the thread early so our Aussie friends could join in. Grace, do not tell another beach story. You're making me jealous. Just kidding, go ahead and tell. But could we get some pics of this beach?

I have my first anatomy lab today. Then it's Chemistry tonight. And after class I have to go to Target and get some essentials. Haven't found a walmart close by so I drive about 15 mins south to go to one. Don't tell my mom I'm out after dark. It was one of the rules I promised not to break.

Hope you all have a great day!

Siri, I looked at the contract for high speed internet and it doesn't say that the speed will vary. I am guaranteed a speed between 950 - 1.5. It wasn't the cheapest package they had but I want to cruise as fast as I can within my budget. It's odd that this is cheaper than AOL dial up.

It's through SBC/Yahoo and SBC is my phone co even though I send my payment to AT&T since SBC and AT&T are the same thing.

It snowed here yesterday and melted in the same day. I'm definitely not sad about it.

    Good Wednesday to you all!

    Today's Wacky Website:

    www.clumsycrooks.com/index.php

    "Clumsy Crooks

Read the latest real-life crime stories in which the criminal gets his due, sometimes even before he's arrested -- like the car thief who stole a gasoline station attendant's car and got nabbed an hour later when he pulled up at the same sataion for gas."

Nothin' new for me here . . . just work and home. Went to a presentation at a restaurant tonight, sponsored by a vendor introducing/familiarizing ppl with a new oral hypoglycemic. Couldn't hear much of what was said, it was so noisy in the restaurant (ambient noise plus some of the ppl at "my" table) -- too bad we didn't have a small room to ourselves. But the meal was good, and I was home before 8:30. Y'all who drink would have loved the free wine and drinks. Me, I had water.

Everyone have a good day, in some way better than yesterday! D

[mouse][/mouse]quote from mlf on 1/16...had a rather interesting experience this weekend. a friend of ours called fri-just as it was getting dark-and said his wife had told him their two goats had to go to the auction-now. dark or no dark he had to take them so they could be sold sat. well, about most of the way over to the auction the wheel came off the trailer holding the goats. the bolts holding the wheel on were broke off so there was putting a new one on out in the road-and, we couldn't find the tire anyways. (dh later found it about 1/2 mile off the road out in a field.) long story short, we had to lift the goats into the back of his pickup (about 3 three feet off the ground) then hog-tie them after tying them to the sides of the pickup. sound like fun? my gardening project is currently on hold. something tells me that 30 degree weather is not the time to plant. even if i planted in the house it would be too cold!! right now, i have a rabbit in my bathtub. (yes, a rabbit.) i decided to try my hand at raising rabbits several years ago but lost all but one. [mouse][/mouse]

mlf- i can appreciate your goat fun!!! my daughter did dairy goats in 4h for several years...we had nubians, then lamanchas...they were quite an experience!! also, about the rabbit in the bathtub...i've had tortoises in the house...:trout:

Bethin I have SBC/Yahoo and I have had it for about 3 years maybe longer works great. Speed is good way better than dial up, I have talked to people that have cable and it seems just as good and a lot less expensive.

None for me Siri! I'm off to bed before my second wind hits fully. I can't believe I got home from work by quarter till eight. It's a new record. Last night was that s word. I'll not say it or I'll wind up making up for last night in spades when I go back in @ 19:00 tonight with a shift from Hades. I'll be working with a really good group of people anyway. It got cold here too. I liked my very mild winter.

Dh and I finished breastfeeding class at the Midwife Center last night before I went to work. Now we have to get this place looking presentable before fil stops over on Saturday. He's taking me rocking chair shopping. No, my child won't be spoiled. As long as he's not a brat, I guess.

    Happy Wednesday Everyone!

    Mornin' y'all!

I guess I spoke too soon about it not snowing much here. haha

I was just about to walk out the door to go to school, when my college district finally posted that they are closed.

I didn't even know that it was suppose to snow. Bad thing about it, like I did say we usually get more ice, besides the snow, it is also sleeting.

So, we have patches of ice left from Monday, fresh snow, and sleet. ugggggh

So, I hope all of you Florida people are loving your warm weather. I am not liking this much.

    Y'all have a great day!
