Wedding/Engagement rings

  1. Hello Everyone....

I need some advice please. I went looking for wedding/engagement rings today with my boyfriend. My problem is that I am not sure how "friendly" they will be for nursing. Could you please give me some advice for a good style for work. I am working in the OB department if that helps. Thank you for your replies....

I have a plain gold band that is my "work" wedding ring. It is the one that was given in our wedding. You could do the same. On our 25th anniversary I received an eternity ring and I wear that one with my solitaire but never to work or garden. Stones collect all manner of "stuff" and some of that "stuff" is N A S T Y !!

Same as P_RN here. When i go to work the plain gold band goes on, no worries that way about snagging gloves or a pt. not to mention all the other gook that tends to migrate into the stones.

I go ringless at work personally, both for hygiene purposes and not wanting to scratch anyone. Shortly after I got my engagement ring a decade ago, I gave a darling little old lady a skin tear with it. Never wore it to work again. Part of my after-work routine is getting prettied up again lol.
