OK, so I've come to the conclusion that my mother only cooked a very limited variety of meals. Not very wordly, ya know?
They're always making fun of me at potlucks at work because I'm in in awe of some amazing creation that I've never eaten before.
This week? I have this new fasciantion with water chestnuts. So I'm basically trying to build several new meals based on my new love for these.

What I'm most interested in is making my own sweet & sour chicken. Not some canned sauce, the real thing. Does anyone have a good recipe? What kinds of stuff do you put in yours? (besides the water chestnuts, of course)
