I don't like ALL his stuff, but some of Picasso's paintings I like a lot.

Like this one (beginning of his Cubist period) and

    this one and

this one (sorry, there's something about the website that only seems to let me link to the page, but not copy and paste the picture) and

this one from his Blue Period:

Also love a lot of Dali's stuff. Like this one (I'm only linking to it, 'cause it's HUGE) and

    this: and

    this:

I had the chance to buy a Dali watercolor once--it was his "Dante's Inferno" series, I think--for a mere $3000. The style was similar to the 2nd painting above (la Danse), except it was a watercolor. I was SO. TEMPTED.

Thankfully, I thought better of it, since I have had for at least 4 years now, at least 6 pieces of original art that I haven't framed or put up because of A) the cost of framing and B) a serious lack of wall space.

    But someday....

I love Vermeer. And Dali. And some of Odilon Redon's work. And Michealangelo, and mary cassat, and that guy that does the pointillism, and monet and manet and van gogh and those California realists and cave paintings and peter max and..

well, you get the picture. I am an art gourmand. Gotta admit, though, Picasso and Miro and the whole cubist movement leave me cold.
