Thanks for the idea, muffie! I always give onesies and disposable diapers (usually a big box of 'em, from Costco), and perhaps an outfit or two (nothin' dressy, I'm strictly practical!) in different sizes, so not all the clothes received are "newborn."

I also give cloth diapers, to be used as burp cloths.

I'm sure you're more than ready, txpad!

    oooooooooooooo Tazz, they're beautiful!

I made a diaper cake for my last shower gift.

But every shower needs an edible cake too.

I was a scheduled section because Demon was a buttling breech. Hubs would laugh at me when I tried to get up off the couch and threatened to ask the doc to postpone my section. I was so ready I just about took his head off for even thinking such a thing!

Let's see, I like to give a gift basket of things like baby aspirin, orajel, baby Tylenol, diaper rash cream and stuff like that. And, after talking to my sister while she was pregnant with my first nephew, I now always like to give the mom a pampering kit -- nice bottle of bubble bath, massage gift certificate, a few candles and other little things for manicure/pedicure. She said she was tired of feeling icky and wanted to feel sexy again!! Congrats
