vanity plates for cars

  1. Well, I finally did it!
I shelled out the extra $$ and bought myself special issue "vanity plates" for my car! I know, I know it is a silly luxury, but it makes me smile!

I work in Labor & Delivery and have done so for 21 years!

    My plate reads: LNDRN

Anybody else have fun "Vanity Plates"????

Don't have one myself, but my favorite was one I saw while driving one day : a bronze Mercedes convertible with vanity tags that read : AT LAST

I always pass this gold Cirrus convertible (they must live near me), and the tag says YEABABY
    I think that's cute.
There's another one (almost exact car) with a tag that says

I don't have vanity plates on my car... can't afford it. Lucky I can afford the car, really.

    My plates (acura legend) Zoe
    Plates on mercedes (smiles) TRVL4RN
The best plate so far I have seen on a dr's car: on a porsche

how about KISS PRN...for sexy nurses only!!!!!
I've always wanted vanity pates, but I don't wanna pay that much for them. If I did it I'd get my AIM name.... ONEHOTRN. But I think it's too many characters...

This may be one of those urban legends, but I understand that it is someone's job at the DMV to check out vanity plate applications to make sure the combination of letters is nothing obscene . There are some I wonder about; you look and look and can't figure *what* they're supposed to say.
