Vacation destinations?

  1. I seriously want a vacation after graduating from school! What are the best beaches out there that you guys would reccomend? I went to Key West last summer...and wasn't that impressed. I've been to Cancun and Cozymel...briefly on a cruise...but didn't get to see a whole lot...I just want a really nice beach that isn't a far flight from Dallas....cuz I'm a little scared of flying..YIKES...anyways any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!

Bahamas, Aruba are beautiful too, I thought Cancun was the best though. My hubby and I went on a Booze Cruise in Cancun, it was so much fun, thank God we didn't know anyone.. but we did meet a lot of fantastic people.

If you need a vacation, any beach will do, just have a good time !!! Just check out the least expensive warmest place to go and you can't go wrong.

What a shame you are not fonf flying - there are great beachs over here - a huge coast line that takes in some of the best beachs in the world - you can go for great surf beachs like Bells Beach in Victoria - the the Gold or the Sunshine coast in Queensland - then there is Ulladulla, Kiama,Woollongong, Merimbula or Bermagui- there just one or 2 in NSW. - All along our coast line we have some of the beaches anywhere. - Then we have all the coastlines along- the west, south and north of Australia as well. -
Now l have written this l am wondering why do l live inland?
Have a great break and maybe - learn to fly - flap those arms for practice -

I''l think of you soaking up the summer - we are just going into autumn herre and l love it.

    Regards Tookie

Well, I can recommend Greece, Turkey and Croatia.
Beautiful beaches, very nice people, excellent food and not very expensive, a long way from home though!!

    Take care, Renee

My fav is Hilton Head in SC -- warm water, not-too-crazy waves, quiet beaches (depending on which part of the island), no drunken teenagers loitering on a boardwalk (well, ok, no boardwalk either), lots to do as far as golf, tennis, water sports, fishing, etc., great restaurants and shopping and not overly commercialized. When you get tired of the beach, you can take a day trip over to Savannah. Can't wait to go back this summer

Try www.beachesofsouthwalton.com This is the web site for tourism for Walton Country Florida. It's in the Florida panhandle. You would fly into Destin or Panama City. The beaches are so white that they look like snow, water is clear. Very Beautifu. I've been vacationing in this area for more than 30 years. My son lives there now, so if you stay in the Seagrove area, ordera pizza from Bruno's and ask for Andy )

I went to Grand Cayman a few years back. It was fantastic. If you decide to get more extravagent though, you should go to Ibiza. Its a very popular beach destination for Europeans. And then come back and tell me all about it!
