I'mmmmm Baaaack. Man, what a great time. We didn't schedule anything, just went to the lake, and did whatever we felt like doing that day. Rented a pontoon boat, spent the day just cruising the lake. Stopped every so often, and let everyone just jump into the lake. I played with the two year old so much, and let me tell you, that kid ain't at all afraid of jumping off a boat into the water. Of course, she had a life vest on anytime we were near the lake. Played some golf, read two books, and just relaxed, never even thought about work. I'll be here for two weeks, then off to a conference in Orlando for a week.
One bit of advice. If you are headed to the Branson area, and are thinking about Silver Dollar City, think hard before you spend the money. We went, spent $120 to get in, and in about three hours had done all we wanted to do. Once you spend your money to get in, most of the place is dedicated to getting you to spend more money (food stands, junk stands, etc). Money would have been better spent on another day on the lake in a boat or another round of golf.
