Tv show version of an LPN
-
I loved the HBO show "Getting On". While no Grey's anatomy or ER, it is a show that actually had a great portrayal of an LPN. And while many shows even lack for nursing (House!!!) , I can't think of any that ever had someone play the part of an LPN. If you haven't watched it ( it only had three seasons) you can still watch it On Demand if you have HBO. The actress who played Nurse Didi LPN , Niecy Nash did us LPN's PROUD!!!! She was up for an Emmy a few years ago for that role. She should have won!Last edit by historylovinglpn on Mar 17, '17 : Reason: Left out an indefinite article

I never saw that program. I don't get HBO either. But, will have to see if I can find it elsewhere. Thanks, historylovinglpnMar 18, '17Yeah. The show was recommended by Sissybee, an AN.com member/coworker who loves the show and said it reminded her of the geriatric psych unit at Wrongway Regional Medical Center.
I bought the first season on DVD and found it entertaining, but not as much as real life.
I think maybe I should watch it again...Mar 18, '17Am going back in time, but I think on Marcus Welby, MD his nurse, Consuela, was an LPN. But maybe more like an MA? I'd have to look this one up. She like RAN the office/practice.Must Read Topics
