Good afternoon, everyone! Another rainy, drizzly, grey day in the northeatern US, but there's a beauty in it somehow. Something about the hazy film in and around the hills and the reflection of everything in the wet, black streets of the village below us. The monster storm from a day or two ago really spared us; we had no more than two to three inches of snow. Then it rained. It was awesome to look at, but now it's gone, and the grass is green... spring ought to be on it's way.
Still having difficulty with the tragedy at Virginia Tech. I cannot wrap my mind around the fact that someone could cause so much destruction to so many people and for what? My niece is college age. The really frightening thing is that it could happen anywhere. My campus, the one over across town, the one in the next county... anywhere.
I'm being productive. I had a good aerobic workout. I have a major exam tomorrow, and I'm reviewing and reviewing and reviewing some more. Cleaned the kitchen, and I've got the last load of laundry in the washer. Fred's gone to Lowe's; one of his power tool drill thingy's died. I don't know what it is, but he seemed upset. Thank goodness for Christmas gift cards
You all be well and be blessed.
