    Good morning.

I'm trying to motivate myself to go to the gym this morning. Just woke up. It's nice and cool this morning. It's muggy enough that it doesn't feel "cold" and it's enjoyable. I hate "cold". It's so nice after more than six months to open the house up and get some fresh air and turn the air conditioner off. Not to mention the savings on my electric bill.

Good morning. "Off" today....no class until 4 p.m. then Ethics (ugh).
Have to wait for servicemen to arrive--after xtensive ductwork on the AC during the summer servicing the 2nd floor of the house, I went to turn the heat on and no heat--just blows air. Perhaps someone didn't hook up the heating duct??? *sigh*

Kinda bummed--don't think I faired well on yesterday's test and the next test is in 2 short weeks. so while I'm waiting around the house for the repairmen, I'm hitting the books and will know everything I need to for the next exam!

Having a real bad N'oreaster here. Wind, rain, leaves are falling all over. Nice day to stay indoors anyway.

    Hugzzzz

"Tried" to go outside and put the trash out but when I made it out the door I nearly got blown away. My goodness is it windy outside and cold and rainy (Yuk!)

So, if you guessed that I will be indoors all day you are right.

Good luck to you suzy! I know how you feel. I myself have them back to back lately and it just drags me.

    Good morning everyone!!

Urgh, today I feel like a duck. In Michigan, this morning the temp is 40 degrees and it is pouring like crazy. Good thing I have my footed jammies on and am heading to bed shortly.

Have to be up in 5 1/2 hours to get the kids from school. Then, it will be homework, supper, and piano lessons for both of them.

Nothing else is going on, just a really hectic night at work last night and now I'm ready for bed. The cats are already in bed warming it up.

So, I'm off to get some much needed sleep.

    Will check in later.

    Smiles and hugs. :icon_hug:

Enjoy your reprieve from the heat, Tweety... how did you guys make out yesterday???
Was too exhausted after my 12+ hours to even come by here, so I haven't read yesterday's posts yet.

Suzy.. so NICE to see you !
Maybe you did better than you thought you did !

Jess.. yes, you all in the northeast are in for some serious winds today.. and major storms further north.. even more flooding for those already flooded out... Snow, rains, winds... the whole package. WOW.

It stayed in the thirties here all day yesterday, and it even sleeted a time or two. :stone Only thirty six and quite breezy right now. Guess it's really over.

Ah well... guess I'll pick up some stew meat at the grocery store this week, some carrots.. got bushels of our own potatoes. Off this weekend so I smell a good crockpot stew coming on !
Don mentioned pork roast and mashed 'taters a couple days ago... one of my FAVORITE meals ! Don.. what cut of roast do you use for that? What's the best?

Well, took Charlie for his second rabies shot already this morning.. neighbors had to put down their two dogs this past weekend.. a skunk attacked them while they were sleeping. Major outbreak of rabies here this year.. mostly skunks, along with some racoons. Skunks literally charging people and animals...:uhoh21:

Go to get my hair trimmed later this afternoon, then poke around here and put up the winter clothes I brought up from the basement the other day. Just piddle along and enjoy the day... work three in a row starting tomorrow, then the weekend off.

Well.. I better get moving !

Hope all our Fla. friends are safe and sound !

    Well

    Morning, everybody. <yawn>

ANOTHER sleepless night!!! No more kidney stones (well, there actually IS one more but it doesn't seem to be traveling) but I just have horrible insomnia. I keep thinking of all the things I need to get done in the next 2-1/2 weeks before the wedding. I am a procrastinator, and while the important stuff is done, it's the little stuff that just seems to keep multiplying.

I'm so tired, only slept 2 hours yesterday afternoon and 2 hours last night. Of course, I could probably sleep right now, but I have to get going so there goes that idea. I'm leaving in an hour, driving 90 minutes to a hotel/spa to meet some friends. Having a stress buster package - four 20 minute sessions: massage, facial, herbal wrap, and mineral bath. Let's hope that it all relaxes me and takes my mind off things.

Hope all is well with you guys. Stay safe with that weather out there...

Mornin', Diane. I so remember trying to get the kiddos to all their after school activities when I worked nights. It (working nights) got so old so fast. How do you do it? Sleep well.

    Good morning!!

Nothing major going on here, just the Music Appreciation class. High in the 70's (which is freezing to me!)

    Y'all have a good'n!

Waaaahhhh! I am glad to be home! I had a rotten time about 5 am, and feel like starting a thread about what happened. I ended up crying (!)....but after my "guardian resident" hugged me. Guess he knew I needed it. I feel soooo awful about crying at work. The first time, too.

Hope everyone wlse is ok, though.

    that poor,abused chick...
