  1. Aaron and I have about had it. We are both probably as near to a nervous breakdown as we can get. We've had a crappy 2002, and 2003 has been one major meltdown after another. Even down to *little* things, like Aaron's employer accidently forgetting the additional $5,000/year that he was supposed to make in 2002. Um, oops.

So we want to take a trip somewhere warm and sunny. Our skin is flaking off from being so dry and gross. My hair is falling out. We need some sun. Thing is, I'm not sure where to go.

We're not impressed with Mexico. Hated Cancun; Puerta Vallarta was okay but not worth going back. I heard Jamaica was iffy and we hate all-inclusives. We'd like Scottsdale area but they are kinda pricey; we'd like to go somewhere that might be less expensive, but still.....nice. Any suggestions?

Okay, I know that I am prejudiced, but how about a week at the beach in Florida. The West Coast is really beautiful with the Gulf and all. Flights are reasonable. And compared to other areas in the US, it is much warmer down here. Tomorrow we are expecting mid 70s again, and I'm planning some pool time.

Kris, I've thought about Florida but not sure where to go. Something that would not make me feel like I'm in Cancun, but something that is south enough to be warm. What's the best place?

Oh too bad you hated Cancun, specials running in Feb. we were just asked to go all-inclusive for 7 days ! Darn.

How about Florida as Kris mentioned?

Aruba is nice, kinda expensive. Bahamas?

I'd say Hawaii or Bermuda, or possibly Puerto Rico.

Hey, Ecuador is cheap. And if you don't mind awful food and prolonged diarrhea, it might just be an option.

Besides, think of all the flutterbies you'd see.

(I'll meet you there and pretend to be Ecuadorian. Aaron will never suspect a thing.)
