Today's the day of decision and my nerves are shot!!!

  1. Hello my beloved sibs. Please keep me close to your hearts tomorrow as I wil hear as to whether I end up getting the job I want at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center as a night time LPN on the Vascular Unit. This position and this place feels so right to me. I know that I could learn a lot as well as contribute a lot. So please keep a good thought okay? Thank you my precious friends. I love you all. Fingers and toes still crossed. Don't worry too much if you don't hear todaay as HR is notoriously SLOW some times in calling back
Some companies want grades in before hiring new grad.

WE KNOW you'll be an asset to any company that hires you as you've first hand experience wwith the health care system!

Keep us informed. HUG to you today. Will be sending the Sparkling Cider when the news does come via email.

I didn't hear a peep from either place I interviewed with last week. Looks like I really made a memorable impresssion huh? Jeez, I really hate suspense!!! I wouldn't care so much, but when someorne says they're going to call you on a certain day is it too much to ask for them to actually follow through? Unless they think I suck so bad it's a waste of a quarter............. Sorry just venting my frustration here. WW.:stone

    Warrior Woman,
I'm not surprised when I don't hear from an organization for at least a week and half. Sometimes longer. My first job out of nursing school I applied in May, upon graduation, and didn't actually start working until August. The whole screening/interview process and time it took for HR to move was 4-5 weeks. Then another week or 2 to make an offer.

The job I currently have, it took 2 weeks for them to make an offer. Don't get so down just yet. Some organizations just move very slow. One good way to tell if you're favorable is if they contacted your references.
