Today I go for interview,Job #2

  1. Today,I am interviewing for a part-time job in a much larger facility(heh heh primary facility has 30 beds!!!) and for the first time in years I have been required to have "resume in hand" I know yall will think I am completely nutz...but I have NEVER had to have a my anxiety level has been extremely high...after all these years in nursing, I had a difficult time saying anything positive about my professional organizations (dues too high),many seminars from years ago but a definite lack know how the hospitals sent us to everything, but now they send us to nothing due to budgetary limitations...well...I have had severe budgetary limitations too but, sent 2 of daughters to universities, with NO HELP for their educations...and they graduated... I am so proud of that!!!! I dunno... after all these years... it does not look impressive on paper... <sigh> ...
The there is my anxiety about my age...we do live in an ageist society, you know...<sigh>...
I just wish there were a place on the form where I could say " I am a DAMNED fine nurse"...

Please send positive vibes my way today,yall...
    Thanks bunches and wads...

Is your computer based on a Microsoft operating system? If so see if your system came with a "Resume Wizzard" program.
Click on the start button, see Find button (magnifying glass on paper)--click there. Type in Resume Wizzard, click on find now button. Program may give you several different styles to chose. Just add your nursing info AFTER reading some of articles below re including "action phrasing" to describe what nurses do!
