Time Change

  1. Can anyone help me find out which weekend in October the time changes. I usually have at least one calander in the house with the weekend listed, but not this year. If someone could let me know, I would appreciate it. :kiss

MAN I HATE IT WHEN WE CHANGE THE CLOCKS! I loved it in Arizona; no one messed with the clocks, so, the time change did not mess with our sleep (or more importantly, that of our kids) and it did not get dark at 3:30 in the afternoon! I DREAD this!

*okay can you please pass me the prozac and side of chocolate now (just give me the whole freaking pound!)?

I live in the dumba$$ section of Indiana that doesn't change.

Our TV times change instead, but last spring even that was messed up :chuckle in April when primetime changes to 7pm cable channels changed but the local affilates decided to stay at 8, I don't know what they were smoking, but for TV junkies like me it was confusing, kept forgetting to set the vcr since shows overlapped!! :imbar

So I'm looking forward to time change again so everything will be as it should

I always remember to change the clocks back the weekend of Halloween, I guess it is our little trick. I agree with Giuseppe, why why why do we still do this, we have electricity now, I don't get up to milk the cows. I hate that the kids stand at the bus stop in the dark and once they are home they may have half hour of daylight. For some odd reason I always want to go to sleep at 5 or 6pm, forget to cook dinner just go to sleep, can't you see it is dark outside.

I asked this question because I always need time to get myself psyched up for the change. I hate the change in time. My kids have no time outside in the afternoon to play before it gets dark. And I hate it for the people who work 7a to 7p. They go to work in the dark and come home in the dark. It is like living the life of a mole underground.

Very depressing indeed. I have to make sure I increase my exercise routine and eat better during this time.

Until I put the Christmas tree up! Then I like it dark!
