  1. it's thursday! :chuckle uh huh, oh yes it is! time for some :smiletea: and to embrace the day!

and, jest so ya's a beautiful day! :yeahthat:

i'm just sitting here :typing and spending a quiet uneventful day. trying to detox after all the christmas indulgence!

dh and i discussed another visit "up/over" this morning!
we're thinking about a 3 week trip. visiting san francisco, la, disneyland (again!) :chuckle san diego, seattle, then a week in hawaii on the way home. we just loved what we saw so much, and there were places, things we missed and/or want to re-visit for longer, we really want to go back. we'll do the costings and check out accommodation, flights etc etc. we're thinking maybe in september.
would that be a wise time of year to visit? what's the weather like in september?
ooohhh, i'm excited just thinking that we could be winging our way back "up/over' again! :smiley_aa

wishing everyone a happy thursday! i'll bbl.
    stay safe and well!

My goodness, Grace. I think you decided to start Thursday early so Jnette can get her ordeal over with sooner. Thanks for starting us up.
If you get to come back up/over I'll enjoy seeing the US through your eyes. I've never been in that area so you have to go there for me. I lived in Connecticut on the east coast for 54 years then moved down to Florida 3 years ago. The farthest west I've gone is Colorado for a long weekend. I really wish I could go visit your neck of the woods but I don't forsee my finances accommodating me.
Good evening, night or morning to all who follow. Have a God blessed day.

Wow, I'm finally able to post!! Anyone experience problems? Mine was intermittent.

Thanks Grace for starting the thread. Good morning Marilyn! And good night Grace. Exactly how many hours ahead of us are you? Eighteen? I can never remember but I know Korea is fourteen hours ahead of me and Iraq is ten.

Moving more stuff today. Ugh. Sick of it. Moving my bed today so I either stay in my apt with no food (no money) or come home and sleep on an air mattress. I'm voting for the air mattress with cable which I don't have in the apt.

Found out some disturbing news tonight. Still digesting it. It shouldn't bother me, but it does. I'm like an elephant - I never forget.

Hope everyone has a wonderful Thursday.

Beth, Yes, I was also experiencing problems. I had tried getting here around midnite & never could until now. Hope you accomplish a lot with your move!! Good Luck!! Where are you moving to?? Indianapolis?

Well, I'm at work---census picked up considerably. We had 9 last nite & 15 tonite. They say Tele has no more beds--Micu only a few.
So, of course, no low census for me. That's OK, I'm off the next two nites.

Yes, I work the weekend--which means that I work New Year's Eve. Oh well, I'd MUCH rather have Xmas Eve off the way I did.

Grace, Thanks for starting the thread. Another trip up and over!! How EXCITING is that!! I, too--like Marilyn-- have not been to those places and your description was just like being there!! I doubt I'll ever be able to afford those trips either!!
So, I guess you'll have to be our eye & ears!!

Marilyn, Hope you have a good day---is it nice & warm your way?? COLD here!!

I have a staff meeting this AM before I can go home!! Gosh---every week we're staying for something--they must love paying us overtime!!

    Well, see you all later

To all who follow, have a WONDERFUL day!!
Netters, Hope all goes well for you today---thinking about you

Hi again. Gotta get ready for work.
Beth- hope your move moves smoothly. Start with the most important stuff...bed, food, TV. And start the cable ASAP.
Hi, Mary Ann- I guess your day will soon be over. Sorry you've got the weekend on. I'm off till Monday after today. I need that time. Worn out.The temps here are in the low 70's right now. But right now it's 52. Guess I"ll run to the car and get the heat on quickly or put a light weight jacket on. I know. You guys up north are cold so I can't complain at all.
Hi Tweety- I hope you have a good OT day today. It'll feel good come payday.
I hope all the sick ones feel better real quick. No fun feeling miserable.
Well, it's after 6 so I've got to get a wiggle on. You all have a God blessed day.

    Good morning! :kiss

I am waiting for the real estate appraiser to knock on the door any minute. I am hoping that the house is tidy enough. Rather, I hope that cleanliness is not even on their priority list during the inspection.

    Good morning, everyone.

Jnette, when you get here, I want you to know I hope things all went well for ya.

Commuter, I've been through so many home appraisals. They don't care about the mess, honest. They look at structure and basic condition of the home, like are the walls and floors intact. Any signs on leakage. Windows also intact. That kind of stuff.

    Bethin, have fun moving.

Everyone else, have a great day.
