another glorious spring day here today. i'm about to shower and remove all that pool chlorine from this ol body, then devour some lunch! working out in that pool has made me hungry! umpiron:
    i need food and :smiletea:.
    enjoy your thursday!

don wants me to post the lottery numbers since i'm in your future. but, i told him that'd be cheating! you can take your chance along with the rest of us!!!

    Good morning/afternoon, Grace!
    Glad you enjoyed your aquarobics!
At our nearby gym they hold "Chair Aerobics" for the seniors.
    Not ready for that YET.
They also have a "Tone and Moan" class.
    Maybe that's more my speed.

I need you to crack the whip to get me started walking again!!
Thanks for posting YOUR efforts, they're an inspiration!

Hope all is well in Oz.
Will see you all in the mornin'.

    g'day, grace and dianah!

justhere - thinking of you today. (and we do indeed want some pics of little grace!)

    mornin', all.

predicaments, predicaments. i'm sitting here mulling over some information i just received, watching the movie elephant, and trying to decide which book (fiction, i'm still reading about 4 non-fiction books at the moment) i should read next.

maybe i should just leave it up to you guys... i've narrowed it down to three:
    • earth abides by george r. stewart
    • we the living by ayn rand
    • the nibelungenlied -- written by an unknown poet at the turn of the 12th and 13th centuries. has something to do with a dragon-slayer...
i can't choose. take your pick!

Goodness, zooz. I have no idea which one you should read first!
I've not heard of any of them!
I must research them and see what each book is about.
Since you've got all three, would it really matter which one you start with? You'll eventually get to read the others anyway.

that would be the logical way to look at it. no, it doesn't really matter, but i can't seem to pick which one to start with. i keep going back and forth.

you don't have to research them, grace. you can just pick the title you like best. (that's how i acquired most of the books that i own, anyway... :d)

but if it helps: earth abides is post-apocalyptic, we the living is about life in russia (post-revolution), and the nibelungenlied is german/scandinavian and has something to do with a dragon-slayer, chivalry, and the like.

    Morning everyone!

Hope everything goes well with justhere.

zooz, I think that third book has some relation to Wagner's Rings operas (don't know if that helps).

Good to see you're keeping active Grace.

Now I've got to spend all of today studying and doing some housekeeping in preparation for a move (as I said, no life!)

stop that talk right now joseph!! you have a life. you're going to school, work, and preparing for a move. that pretty much sums up life.

i hate moving, but i've always done it by myself. hope you have help.
