Good morning all (although it's 10pm here!)!
I just got in from the school's Christmas Concert: bell choirs and choirs and bell choirs and bands and orchestras and choirs and bell choirs and string ensembles and choirs and bell choirs and . . . for 2 1/2 hr!!! It was very Christmas-y: stage in auditorium-cum-gym (boxy, tall-ceilinged, echo-y building) decorated with garland intertwined with red ribbons and white lights, and white lights twinkled on two trees on stage, which was flanked by a wreath on each side of the stage . .. The kids all performed well (it was just a tad too long, for my taste)! Oldest ds even had a speaking part!
So, tomorrow he has to be to the school at 7am, so choir can travel to Riverside to sing.
Mentally, for me, getting up any time before 6 a.m. is difficult!! (you'd never know I took call for over 20 yr, getting OOB at all hours of the night to work, then reporting back to work on time the next morning, lol!) I'm off early tomorrow, so dh and I can pick the kids up from school, drop them off at home, then drive to Calimesa to meet with the jazz class, to perform at a Rotary holiday function. I think that's the LAST program for us!!
, thanks for starting the thread, I've missed seeing you post here! Hope you had a good visit with your dd!
, hope you're asleep by now . . think: sheep.
Read something boring.
We worked hard today, only two of us in the Lab, as the other two called off sick. Got two cases done, and then did some problem-solving (with Biomed) re: burning CDs of this week's cases, done in the "new" room. Still getting used to the new room. Biomed chief (he's SOOO helpful, we need to get him some cookies!!!) will work on two other issues in the room, tomorrow. Tomorrow's case will be done in the old room, as we need the biplane fluoro (very helpful for crossing the valve in aortic stenosis cases).
Better get ready for bed, morning comes early these days.
Bless you all.---
