I'm alive. Exhausted, but alive. I may cut back my days with MIL to 1-2 a week. Her LTC insurance is paying me to be there with her, but my house is falling down around me. By the time I leave her house and pick-up dh (who is getting out of work later and later coinciding with his manager's growing cranial-rectal inversion) I'm too tired to do anything else. BTW, tonight it was nearly 19:30 when he was finally done. He's suppossed to be done @ 17:30.
Dd has been really fussy and out of sorts. She fights going to sleep when she's clearly exhausted and we're all paying the piper. Oh, and ds has had french fries almost every day for the last month, despite my requests that they be an occasional treat. And we have to move . . . . . . . . ds and dbil have to sell our house and we're in no position to buy it. I'd like to know exactly when I'm suppossed to pack.
OK, enough. I just need to chill and take a mental health day. Maybe this weekend even though I'm really not suppossed to call off again until November. I get two call-offs per year. More than that and I'm kicked-off the weekend program. Deep breath . . . . . . . .
Sorry, I'm hardly here anymore and I started out my first post with a whine-fest. I hated to do it, but if I didn't let it all out I swear my head will pop.
Happy almost Friday, Di . . . .
zuzi-Your friend's hubby is an a$s. I hope she kicked him to the curb and made him take all those blasted cans of paint with him.
steph- I hear ya about it being nice to actually be able to pay the bills for a change. It was a rough time when I was off with dd for a few months. We're just starting to get our financial bearings back a little. . . . .
Which ds is moving to Washington? I'm assuming it's not Danny.
Speaking of a$se$, DDRN4me, good job being the bigger person. Karma has a way of working things out far better than you or I could. He'll get his one day. I hope you get to see your Nana. When does dh return stateside?
Joe-Just enjoy your graduation, no matter who is or isn't there. You've earned it. Relax and savor the moment . . . . .
Hi, Grace. The Birds is really disturbing even by today's standards. The national Aviary is in my city and I was only ever there once and that was under protest. I hope you're enjoying your Friday.
