Those annoying forwarded emails!

  1. Is it just me or anyone else troubled by those emails you get that have been forwarded to you from well meaning (?) friends? I can stand a joke or two or maybe a funny story every once in a while, but everyday I log onto my computer and have at least 10 forwarded emails.

I don't even understand the logic because the same people who forward the same trite stories, poems, thoughts, etc wouldn't dream of sending a chain letter through the postal system. I don't mean to bytch at something so harmless, but I just received an email that must have been forwarded to at least 50 people so I am wondering... IS IT JUST ME?

No, it is not just you!! I even get back some of the jokes I send. I think my sis-in-law just has a group e-mial and just clicks on send to group. Another girl forwards them to dozens of people if a send her a joke, and also back to me. Drives me crazy. Like hello, I just sent YOU that joke, which means I have seen it already...Thanks!

Here is one you can forward, I left the little arrow things in for an added touch! :chuckle :roll

I changed my e-mail address and only gave it to persons who did not send me forwarded jokes.
Though I have never sent a forward because thye annoy me so much, I may send out Hoolahan's.
Though it would be from my old address so the perpetrator's can't forward it back to me.

Made the inlaws limit the # of emails, so not as many forwards in my box. I don't read them anymore, just delete them right away.

Just an FYI as to spam that we all recieve. There are programs on the market that allow the sender to see if you open the e-mail they sent. It is a markting tracking program. So, If you dont want to be bothered just delete unwanted mail dont even open it and this will help cut down on unwanted posts.
