Hey, I once told a pt. I was going to put 2 heads under his pillow! (I meant 2 pillows under his head). He and the other nurse had such a good laugh at me that I've never forgotten it.

I've put my keys in my toothbrush holder; got in the back seat of the car to drive home (couldn't figure out WHAT was missing at first!); put my purse in the frig-- shall I go on?

I swear my brain disconnects when I get REALLY tired!

While driving home, I've stopped at stop signs and sat there waiting for them to turn green.

I have driven home and not remembered the drive...........made the tea and put it in the fridge! couldnt remember where I had put the tea which caused much amusement from the kids when they found it chilling nicely!! this is a great job but sometimes it takes everything out of you............still on holiday next week so time to recover!!

I once packed my daughter's lunch for school and gave her a nothing sandwich....just two pieces of bread in the bag with nothing in between!

I forgot my locker combination at work once. Had to call security and everything. My purse, keys, everything was in there.

I've forgotten it before, sometimes when I haven't worked in awhile, or been on vacation. But the minute I get that little combination in my hand and spin it around a few times, I always remember it. Not this time.

When the security guy brought it up for me, it didn't even look familar on the piece of paper.

That same day, I then turned down the wrong street driving home. I just stopped the car and looked around for a minute or 2 because nothing looked familar.

I slept for about 14 hours that night.

After I moved 3 years ago, it took me 6 months to stop driving the old way home (thank GOD for autopilot) after those kiler shifts from hell.

I've brushed my teeth and afterwards wondered if it was toothpaste or ben gay that I used?
Couldn't remember if I used shampoo so did it again...

I think ben gay is a pain reliever lotion that you rub on. Or it's something that you rub onto a tooth or gum that is bothering you.

I was making hot chocolate and put the plastic gallon jug of milk on the stove and the pan with milk in the fridge. Worst mess you ever saw when that jug melted. I have also turned down the wrong street, and I have even tried to get into the wrong car after leaving a shift from he!!.

I have often driven home from work after 16hrs and couldn't recall anything about the drive, including whether I stopped at red lights or not.
