Things to do...

  1. Ok... list of things to do while the chat room is STILL down...

    1) go to the movies and see Shreck again... What a faboo movie...
    2) Mow the lawn(if, and only if it stops raining)
    3) Finish whatever piece of jewlery I started making... probably only needs a spot weld or somthing...(note to self, check first to see which interns/residents/attendings are up in the burn unit this week!)
    4) Update the drugbook in my Palm Pilot (ePocrates.com) Its free, so Might as well...
    5) Clean My room (yes mom, I will eventually do that... soon... I promise... *Wink *Wink)
    6) go to the movies again and see Knights Tale for the 42nd time or so... the guy who plays william is HOT. and the ending is SO good... Chaucer is the coolest.
7)Go and finish the "Learn Japanese in x-many days" learn at home set
8)Iron my whites... (dont like to iron them because if you do, they get to be transparant. Hey-- if they get that way, can I get paid better?)
    9) Sit in central park/somewhere in manhattan and observe the men who walk by for boxer/brief debate with best friend.
    10) Write Cheezy posts just to occupy time that I dont really know what to do with because I'm really broke and cant go to the movies again this week because its too damn expensive, like over 10 bucks a ticket... no good...then again, I can find a guy with a good job who appreciates shreck and will pay for the ticket.... Hey-- thats a plan!

    Ha...

I can't believe that the chat room is still down!!!! What's going on here guys!!! Well until they get it up and running again, I'll finish the little song I'm working on about solumedrol. Wanna hear it here it goes!

    Solumedrol
Sung to the tune "TIny Bubbles" by
    Don Ho

    Solumedrol, thru your line
    makes you breathe better
    makes you breathe fine

Now that's as fas as I've gotten. I'm trying to come up with a word to rhyme with vein that would fit into the song!

    Pretty sad, huh?

    Ta-ta for now

I personally would love to see more chat room people use ICQ.It is so frustrating trying to talk to other nurses all over the world, only to have the room taken over by "close friends" who dominate the page and ignore everyone else.I think it would be a much nicer place to visit if we didn't have to sit thru reams of personal inside jokes .Just my opinion.Sorry if I offend anyone.

    Just curious.
    What is ICQ??

So basically Lynn, what you are saying is that you think that the "close friends" are sort of snobs? Like a clique of catty nurses at work? We are all just regular nurses who came into the chat room to talk to other people. I try not to exclude anybody and say hello whenever a new person enters the room.

Icq is a way to "find" friends on the internet. It stands for I seek you. Go to www.icq.com and you can register for free. The downloading process takes a while. But it is a pretty cool tool to have.

OK, I went to the ICQ webpage referenced above. What a confusing site! Just what the heck am I supposed to do? It's like a "homepage" site...no idea where to go from there. Set up email? Clueless

You need to download the ICQ program in order to be able to participate. Best advice I can give you is to follow the prompts. Good Luck. And once you get ICQ change your status so you infrequently get junk mail like you would on an email account.

    Thanks Kelly.
    Love the song.

I like ICQ.... I always have the window open...

its quite nice.... keeps everyone in touch quite happily, most of the time...

to download it, you have to search the homepage for the place to download the beta file... its so tiny on that first page, but once you find it, just follow the directions, and it does it just by itself...

    enjoy!
