Things are gonna change

  1. In my room that is!!!

I want to pain my walls lavender (well I went and got my paint today but the color I showed earlier was way to pink so I changed it to this:

And a nice bed spread set (bed spread also changed, I decided to get something that I will hopefully like in a few years) :

So, what do you think? Do they match? I think they look pretty cool together, it's kinda spunky, vibrant, and cheery. It dosn't have to match perfectly. I think not completly matching the bed spread and walls together will give my room more character.

Personally, I would get pretty tired of the walls in a hurry; at the very least, I would pick something a little lighter and toned down to more of a "neutral" or rosier shade. That's me, though, and it ain't MY bedroom, it's yours.

LOVE the comforter and sheet set--too cute! And that Delia website has a lot of fun stuff-- I'm bookmarking that one. Thanks!

Regardless, you have to post pictures when you're done, you know. Wannasee wannasee wannasee!

Cute bedspread-I think it would go with lavender. You could paint a couple of the walls (depending on the layout) to give you the color but not make you sick of it

oohhh.. love the colors !! very beautiful.. lavender would be pretty for walls.. maybe a lighter shade unless you have a lot of windows

Like the bedspread. Although I love purple, Don't know if I could stand the color on the walls. Who am I to talk, though. When I was your age, I painted my bedroom walls slime green -- charming.

beautiful colors I love lavender. I always found that after you paint the walls the shade seems darker so you may want a shade lighter. its gonna be loverly deb

Thanks for the input you guys!!

My room right now is currently white on top and a pink on bottom, do you think the paint will go over that evenly? or will the top half of my walls be lighter than the bottom?

I love it. Purple is one of my favorite colors, the other is black. I look so good in it! Hahahahaha
