The summer I was 13 my uncle sang "Blueberry Hill" or "I Walk the Line" all day.
Grandma sang off key and danced. Little cousins jumped and did somersaults.
    Silly fun.
    Neat mental imagery, herring.

You know, as I was drawing Fats Domino, I thought of you, herring, wondering if he was another famous person you or yours had met and /or played music with.

Just on the radio. Loved all the songs he sang.

Bounty paper towels love themselves; they are self-absorbing. A-yuk-a-yuk-a-yuk.

I think it is kind of too bad that many of the funny, participatory threads are few and far between anymore; maybe fewer than far between, even. That's what *I* think.

Speaking of 'self-absorption', which apparently NOBODY is right now, except me; anyone know the song by Joan Armatrading, "Me, Myself, I" ? It's a good'n, nice and peppy-rock'n'roll and humorous, too

Me: Why, yes, Stars, I do know that song. I like it a lot; good to dance to. It's kind of old, isn't it?

Myself: Um, not sure of the exact year it was released, but I heard it first in the 1980's...

I: Too bad I can't post a site to go to to hear that song.

    Me: That's okay.

Myself: Yes; we have it on a cassette and can listen to it anytime we want to.

I: Ain't nobody on this thread anyway, so what'd be the point?

I only just found this today, Rose; for some reason it did not come through to my inbox. Usually,I get a notice in the inbox that a thread I've been following has another post on it.Oh, well.
I thank you for posting 'Me, Myself, I'. I also listened to some of the other songs that were on Youtube. Brought me way back in time, to the early 80's.
My dog Ozzy tried to sing with me when I sang along ,,, either that or he was shouting at me to shut up!
But I really enjoyed this a whole bunch!
    Thanks again!
