The story behind my first on-line test

  1. Whew guys...I took my first online test for Economics of Healthcare on Sunday. Studies like crazy (glad I did the test was hard).

Anyway- I'm not the brightest bulb when it comes to computers; and I was nervous since you only have 1 hour to take the test...it was 90 points (I fig. than 90 questions all MC).

I start the test...finish the first page. You are too go to the top and hit second page and continue...NO Icon for page 2!!! All the questions were labled to be 1 point each too...so where were the other 60 questions!

I hit the help thing which wouldn't work the first time (I had hit save for all my answers)...I reviewed and did all the same thing...NO PAGE 2!!!! All this has taken about 10 mins...I now have less than 30 mins to do 60 questions. At this point I am Very Anxious...and shaking and can hardly type.

All I can think to do is email my instructor which I do...go back to the test and try to get page 2 ONE MORE TIME!!! Only 10 mins left!!! I knew I could not do any more test at this point and submitted the test questions the 30 anyway.

I left crying...cried for about 1 hour; barfed; called my instructors work number and left a message again. Not doing well...figured it they would not let me redo this test or at least take the rest I would be a D (I was getting an A).

My instructor calls...realizing my frantic state in the email...Here there were no 90 questions...30 question worth 3 points each...nothing like I thought. I was go greatful she called. And get this...I got an A! On the test and for the course!

PTL! Now I was this frantic and that was without coffee!!! These computers are gonna be the death of me yet!
