The "SPINNERS" are gonna tell us on the evening news: W's state of the union "problem

  1. and the spinners are going to explain to all of us dummies
how the info about Iraq seeking uranium from "Africa" was
in Poor Georges' State of the Union message.

And how W is not responsible.

And that W and Rummy think it is time to put it behind us....
And it is time for us to move on,
and to stop thinking and saying the president, and/or his
    speechwriter lied to us.

Anyone recall that W was "practicing" the January speech for two months at Camp David and the Texas ranch during the
    holidays?

It will be on tonights national news.....

The buck does not stop with Dubya....
it is some one else 's fault....
tune in to find out who's to blame / hear the "spin"

Bush Defends Intelligence As 'Darn Good'
Bush Defends Quality of U.S. Intelligence As 'Darn Good' Despite Flap Over Iraq Uranium Claim

The Associated Press "I think I get is darn good intelligence and the speeches I have given are backed by good intelligence," Bush said. However, the administration has acknowledged the uncertainty of remarks Bush made in his January State of the Union address about Iraq's alleged attempts to buy uranium in Iraq." Administration officials say the remark should not have been included in Bush's speech because it was based on British intelligence that was not confirmed by the United States. "When I gave the speech the line was relevant," the president said. He noted that it was cleared by the CIA at the time, although doubts were subsequently raised.

Niger and Iraq: the war's biggest lie?
Some time after the Iraqi ambassador's trip to Niger, the Italian intelligence service came into possession of forged documents claiming Saddam was after Niger uranium. We now know these documents were passed to MI6 and then handed by the British to the office of US Vice-President Dick Cheney . The forgeries were then used by Bush and Blair to scare the British and Americans and to box both Congress and Parliament into supporting war. There are an increasing number of claims suggesting Bush and Blair knew these documents were forged when they used them as evidence that Saddam Hussein was putting together a nuclear arsenal.

Now isn't that an intelligent statement, coming from a man who's supposed to be the president of the United States. "Darn Good"????? :chuckle

It's that good ole boy, "down home" talk that wins over the voters.

Anybody who says "darn good" or "durn good" while chomping on a toothpick just HAS to be a symbol of integrity.............

care of all us "home folks."

passing thru...love your quote "Some days should come with delete keys."

If only all our presidents of the U.S. A. could come with a delete key, they could delete everything they deny saying that they either said or possibly said that can or possibly can't be traced or proven with accuracy.

cheerful I agree....with you and passingthru. Some days should come with delete keys. Like the days since GW got in office. Naawwww....that won't work. How about selective delete. Such as deleting GW taking office...!

A note to GWB: "Yee-haw!!" is not a foreign policy.

His country boy talk does little to improve his image. My BIL is from England and says that when he's pictured in the news over there, he is generally shown on a horse or on his ranch wearing jeans. It's embarrassing.

My BIL is from Kentucky, he's a great guy and says "Darn good" quite often. He would give the shirt off his back to someone in need.
