Like Many of You, I Enjoy this Web Site Tremendously. This is a Place where we can meet Like Souls and share our Trials, Tribulations, and Triumphs. We can meet here in One Accord.
But, like Many of you have said, there are Other Areas we Have to, or Need to, Focus our Energies and Endeavors.
I found Myself not Doing as Much Art as I did before discovering AN.com and the Break Room.
Art is One of my Passions; Art, along with Belinda, Nursing, Exercise, Philosophy, and the Outdoors. Like my Other Passions, Art Stimulates me, Fulfills me, and Helps me to Feel Whole.
Feeling that Lack of Doing Art caused me to attempt a Problem-Solving Process. How could I devote Time and Energy to AN.com and all the while do my Art?
Viola! Do Art on AN.com! Well, actually, the Break Room. Hence, this Thread.
So here's what I plan to do: Draw Cartoons and Post them on this Thread.
And here's what I would like you to do: Read them and Comment on them. Feel Free to Critique, Criticize, Question, Compliment, or Condemn my Cartoons. Or just Pass them By. Submit your own, if you Like. Whatever!
So here we Go: As my Dear Ol Daddy once told me, "The Best Place to Start is at The Beginning". My Beginning, this Time around, was at my Birth.
I Figure the Moderators will Delete any Cartoon they Believe to be Inappropriate. That's Okay, too. I can Learn New Boundaries. Even though I am an Old Dog...

Thank you for the Feedback, Ted.
I know you are one Artist who Productively uses his Time Creating Musical Masterpieces. As you are Surely Aware, our Art is an Important Therapeutic Aspect of our Lives!
Thanks also for the Question. Yes, I've had my Cartoons Published in a Couple of Local Rags back when I was heavily into the Public Art Scene, from about 1996 to 2003. As I have Communicated to you before, I Hung Up my Guns when the Public Art Scene became more Work than Pleasure. I came out of Retirement a Few Years ago to do a Mural for the Local Community Theatre's Production of "To Kill a Mockingbird". That was a Great Experience, as I Patterned the Mural in the Style of the Late Great Painter and Muralist, Thomas Hart Benton.
Thanks again, Ted.
And now: Back to Our Program:
I was Educated in the Public School System. To give you an Idea of my Educational Process, I had a Three Day Suspension from High School the First Month I attended for Fighting in a Classroom (He started it!), yet Graduated with Academic Honors.
My Educational Endeavors began Roughly, from the First Day of School in September 1963. The Teacher Instructed us to Introduce Ourselves, by our First and Last Names:
Freud believed the Personality is Developed by the Age of 7, but White Promotes the Predisposed Genetic Personality Template.
What do you think?

Ted, have you thought about becoming a Talk Show Host? You're REALLY Good at it!
And as Bill Murray, playing a Lounge Lizard on SNL use to say, "Get out of here! I love you. I really mean that, too!"
Now that you mentioned it. . . Actually, Davie-kins, I used to be a lounge musician on a cruise-ship. Part of what I used to do was MC (of sorts) a Midnight "Sock Hop" special with my wife who hosted that audience-participated "show". (We were told to do this while the passengers sat in the main theater, waiting for the go-ahead to disembark the ship. It was a captive audience and not all of the people in the "audience" liked being captive. LOL!) I don't know about being a Talk Show Host, but I sure know how to waste a lot of time saying really stupid stuff, all in the name of attempting to be "entertaining". (Ain't that one definition of "Talk Show Host"??) LOL! Interestingly, last night, for example, I was unexpectedly given the microphone to announce winners of a raffle-prize event at the end of the "Healthy Heart Night" that I mentioned in the Good Morning thread. I haven't MC'd any event in a LONG time! But being quite familiar with holding that long, hard thing (the microphone) in my hand, I immediately put my mouth to the task and did what comes quite naturally for me. . . talk. LOL! Not only can I MC a "Sock Hop" show, I can MC a raffle-prize event. LOL!
Got any pictures of the mural the hospital commissioned you do create? Honestly, I would love to see more of your art work. I'm sure that I'm not alone with this.
I have all sorts of animation programs that I collected throughout the years. Most are collecting dust. I just do NOT have the eye-hand coordination like, you artists have, to draw. However, I do LOVE looking at the artwork of people who have that eye-hand coordination thing. You certainly have it, Dave. It is a pleasure seeing your cartoons that you've recently began to share here.
