I finally did it and called my oncologist after a fretful weekend. I was, of course, imagining myself bald again, going through surgeries, hooked up to chemo....
So anyway, my onc said everything looks great. They consulted with my surgical oncologist from WHC, and its not that my lymph nodes were enlarged, just that there are many more of them on the left side of my neck than the right.
This is to be expected, because so many chains of nodes were removed from the right side during my last wide excision and skin grafting surgery.
So... I am 'right as rain' and there's actually nothing to worry about.
I'd like to thank everyone for their positive energy... there isn't a word in the english language to say how relieved and blessed I feel right now.
