Thank you for your good wishes for my dad!

  1. He's okay! Turned out not to be CHF after all, but COPD exac. The cardio said all the tests show no cardiac involvement at all; he thinks the chest pain was actually chest wall pain from resp effort. He's up and about today, doing much better, and will probably go home tomorrow.

    Good news to hear.

    Take it from a resp homecare nurse:

    Insist on homecare referral, preferably with agency that has COPD program - teaching and followup to help master med regemin and give hints manage exacerbation needed. PT for energy conservation techniques helpful too...want to mazimize his lifestyle!
