(((((((Zoe))))))) Us moms have a hard time watching our kids grow up and go their own way. We get into Mama-bear-protecting-her-cubs mode. And I'm right there with you. (((more hugs)))
    {{{{{{{{{Marilyn}}}}}}}}}}} thanks! I appreciate that

    Good afternoon all,

Beautiful pouring rain here, and figures this would be the day I volunteered to do girl guide cookie selling. Oh well we did make a lot of sympathy sales so were done quickly. Painted 4 doors, 2 loads of laundry and only 1230, wow I am good!
Tammy, just about eligible for sainthood, ha ha!

    out for breakkie
awakened at 0600, as tammy cat was dying of hunger...
Lexie doesn't wake me up for foodlings, don't know why - as soon as my feet hit the floor she makes a lot of noise, but maybe she has had one too many pillows and scoldings thrown at her ... lol

Glad you had fun at the movies, so, you want a lot of bling-bling?

The acoustics and sound arrangement (we had 6 vocalists and approx 8 instrumentalists, three of whom switched instruments between numbers) made it hard for the strummers to hear the singers and vice versa . . .

... Zoe, I didn't know your son was even dating anyone, so it was a surprise to read he's thinking of proposing.
    Switching instruments? Why?

T didn't let me know about the GF til about the first of Sept, he met her 5 yrs ago on the internet, but they were "just friends" for quite a while. She lives about 3 hrs from NYC. Haven't met her but T said he would bring her up for Christmas! (he better!)

    Hello and goodnight!

Work tomorrow 630a-1130p - probably later. Last weekend Sun I worked 530a-12 midnight, turned around and worked 630-11a Monday.
Umm, what did you say in the prayer thread about too many hours? and I quote: "..With IBS you need to take care of yourself first. I'm sure working those extra shifts are not helping... "

    Ahem.

    wakey wakey!!! to sunday!
weelll.... it is sunday in australia!! :d
here just to help you get started :smiletea:

the dinner at the thai restaurant last night was delicious! absolutely a full on true taste sensation! dh and i agreed it's the best we've ever had! we'll definitely return there for another meal.

unfortunately we missed the sunset by about 10 minutes. and a brillaint sunset it was too. we had intended to be there in time to watch it descend in the sky and set over the horizon. we'd booked a table near the window so we could sit with a glass of wine and watch the sun go down. the table position was perfect! pity we misjudged the timing and arrived too late! :smackingf

i'm feeling every muscle in my body today! after the 5 hours of painting and all the stretching, bending, crouching, lying sideways on the floor etc etc, this ole bod is sore today! still, the sense of accomplishment surpasses any aches 'n' pains.

i'm headed out to visit with dd soon. she lives down by the beaches. might even go for a nice walk along the seashore. it's aglorious spring day here today.

wishing everyone a safe, happy and healthy sunday! :icon_hug:

this pic of an aussie wattle tree is for sabby!

i like to tease her and tempt her and help her dream of home!
since it's now our spring season, the wattle trees are in full bloom and everywhere you go, you're surrounded by the green and [color=yellow]gold.
for those who don't know; green and [color=sandybrown][color=yellow]gold are australia's national colours!

    hope to catch you later..................

errrrrr ...... That's Gold! Green and Gold! I realise the colour doesn't show up very well in the post.

Have a nice time at the beach Grace!

Not sure which thread to post this on, so I'll do both.

Going to bed...spent the last two hours watching Svengoolie (had Son of Dracula tonight) and reading about the CNL role (a topic for another forum). See you all in a couple hours.

    Hey beautiful :0

I think you should be the "owner" of the GM thread since you "were" here "first" -- um - ?

Anyway, nah, I just love to be up late - I am going to bed 10 minutes ago

How are you doing? I'm good, went to a church supper, was very good and skipped dessert, but now, I want ... sigh ... something ...

I always want to change your name to "Joe Mightymale" lol

don't you just hate it when you forgo the dessert like that and then want it later???? LOL

I'm going along ok, thanks. 2007 has been a "bit of a year", for many reasons. However, I'm just glad to be alive, mostly healthy, and able to make the most of each and every day that comes my way.
Funny how, as we grow older, we appreciate this life much more succinctly than we did when younger, aye?

    CRIKEY!!!! Look at the time!!!!!!!!!
sorry Zoe, I'd love to stay and chat awhile, but must hit the road to see DD. I'm due there at 2pm and it's now 1.50pm!!!!!! It's a 40 minute drive!!!
But, I know you're headed to bed soon, so wont feel too rude leaving! (((hug)))
Just when I get to have a chance to chat in real time.......... *sigh!*
    Hopefully another time?
    Sleep tight and sweet dreams!
I'll try and join in later tonight when y'all are up and about and have greeted your sunday!
    Cheers for now! ................. *waves*

Wow - it's Sunday somewhere!! It's still 2134 here!! And we have 2 threads for the day! Everyone is busy.

We are having a good night so far!! YAYAYA!! I got home this morning and my feet were swollen and oh-so-sore! I hope tonight is more paced than last night.

I watched a Star Trek classic while getting ready for work!! I could not belive it was even on. Captain Kirk again resisted mind control/altering. Miraculously he kept his shirt on the entire episode...It was nice to see though.
