    Good morning y'all,

Working today HH shift 8A-8P. Youngest ds building a volcano using playdoh. I can't find the colors he needs so will have to make [more of] my own when I get off tonight.

Tomorrow, I will go to Head Start to help with the health screenings that I wasn't able to get done before I resigned. Head Start benefits because they can charge my sevices at about $19.00 an hr as a federal match. So we all win. I feel better helping the nurse do the job I should have done and they get $$$ because I am volunteering my time to help.

I am also expecting a phone call from an agency to work 10-15 hrs a week in HH. This working 12 hrs a week just isn't working. Can we say BROKE!! I have a mortgage to pay and kids to feed.

    TTYL have a great day!!

    Morning Grace diarygirl Mary jmgrn!

6am here. Should be an easy day...just a quiz on Monday to study for and a clinical on Tuesday to get ready for.

Not much else going on here today...I'm going to try reading some of Jan Karon's Mitford novels, since my dad likes them so much. Don't know if I'm going to get to the gardens anytime soon...just too much to do, and it's just too far through too much traffic.

Happy Sunday! I have a couple of church services, and hoping to be able to see my dad who's had a lot of pain from his bladder cancer. You know, his idiot dr. is so incensed that my dad wants to get other opinions, treatment options, etc. What is WRONG w/ that - wouldn't he? or wouldn't he do that for a family member? What an ego!

Anyway - on the 7th dad has to have some laser treatment for scar tissue on the bladder sphincter (leastwise that is what I gather from talking to him). meanwhile, the exam caused so much pain, and retention, he had to go to the local dr. (the other is 2 hrs away). I guess they had a heck of a time getting a catheter in but for now dad is much more comfortable. Dad is not spleeny so I know this is bad.

What else? Gave my son holy hannah for not calling about the decision for him to have leave (he has had 3 fractures in 6 months and they are not really investigating, his dr wants him to come home to rest for 2 months and the colonel, who's also a dr, denied it. Ds is trying to see the doc to appeal the decision.) Had tried to reach ds (I use the "d" with a snarl) for 3 days, 3 msgs, and he wondered why I was mad!

Well, job is going great, everything else is fine, weather is perfect - high 50's right now at 7:30. Gonna be sunny winds 20-30, fall leaves falling but still lots of good color. Wish my camera would upload to my computer but it doesn't seem to want to anymore.

Well, hope y'all have a great Sunday! or, Monday ... lol

    [mouse]Good Morning!!![/mouse]

I haven't been to sleep yet. I went to a poker tourney () last night since I was able to use comp time at work.

I was getting pretty low on chips and I knew a cash game was going to start up soon. It was me and an other guy who were in the hand. I floped the highest pair, but he got trip fours on the turn and I had gone all in . I was pretty red, but I got over it. I broke out even in the cash game though, so all and all it was a good night. So now, to all those day walkers out there... good morning and good night. :zzzzz

    Shameless Plug:

Just was doing a casual tally over on the Healthier Living Thread - our team has lost 64 lb! and I'm pretty sure there are more people that have not been included in the score that I have yet to hear from! (does that even make any sense???)... so anyway - come join us and we can support each other... it's not just for wt loss - lifestyle, smoking, stress, spirituality, whatever your need is. Oh, and mental health, which of course is not a concern for those on this thread - but if you know someone ...

LOL Zbb - I think Alois means he had the winning pair after the flop and then someone else got 3 of a kind to beat him - Am I right??
