    Good morning everyone! I had a great day yesterday.

    I went to Columbus Market, like I said, and my goodness I really think I'm goign to start going more often. I had never been to the Amish part of the market because I thought it was just this small little shop. MAN was I wrong. It was like a Amish Supermarket haha. There were so many baked goods, meats crafts etc. I had two of my friends with me and we spent about 16 dollars between the three of us for breakfast. That was enough to feed about 5 people. It was SOOOO good. Pancakes, traditional breakfast sausage, eggs, home-made toast. I love the Amish, they are such nice people I haven't met a one that has ever rubed me the wrong way. I don't usualy make sweeping generalizations about a particular group of people, but they are good, hard-working people that I admire greatly.

    There was also an open-air market that had a lot of produce that was grown locally for good prices. I got about must have been 3-4 pounds of grapes for 6 bucks. They had pomegrantes, cactus pears, apples, oranges.

    *sigh* I love places like that.

    GOOD MORNING, MY LITTLE PEEPS!!

    Grace, Thank you for starting the thread. I will have to wait until I get home to watch the video. They block the vids & piccys here at work.

    My nite is OK so far, but I am up for an admit if we get one. It's 0400 now & has been snowing for about 24 hrs. Who knows if we'll get one or not.

    As I said, it's still snowimg here---about 8-9 inches so far. We are close to the lake, so we get more then away from the lake.
    They say that we are supposed to have snow all of Sunday, also. Getting to work tonite was not so easy!! The streets were really pretty poor, altho, they said they've been working on them all day. Well, all I can say is that I'm not looking forward to coming to work on Sunday.

    I am so busy at home, still have all of my gifts to wrap & I don't even have that many!! I still have a couple to buy!! I;ve been so bad this year.
    At least I got my cards out, tho. I made about 175 cards this year.

    Well, have to run.
    I haven't had time to read many of the threads, so I hope you are all OK.

    Well, you all have a WONDERFUL Day!!

    See you later

    Morning Grace, Alois, Mary Ann!

    Apparently a lot of snow overnight, so getting to work may be a bit of a challenge. Fortunately it should be a slow day, as I'm not sure if many customers will brave the weather.

    Good morning everyone, sitting here with toothpicks trying to pry my eyes open.

    Mary Ann who do you send cards too (my eyes are open now, lol), I don't even know 20 people to send cards too. I hate to have to buy stamps for all them cards, thats $73.50 just for the stamps.

    My little Grace is laughing now, a few weeks ago it was a cough, she would try to laugh but it would make her cough. Well she has got it down pat now. I will try to post her Christmas pictures this week, I got a new lap top so maybe I can do more now.

    Hope everyone has a MERRY CHRISTMAS.:xmas_smilies_daz:

    Justhere,
    You know, I'm not sure who all we send to---I'm old, so some of these people are really old aquaintances who I still hear from. I cut my list considerably this year. Also I am on the Allnurses Xmas List;
    Believe me, My husband is not pleased with the stamps needed.For the last 5 years he has been complaining about the cost of the stamps;
    we do keep saying, this will be the last year!! Well, I just love sending cards, any cards, so I would really miss sending!!
    Your baby Grace sounds so cute--can't wait for a piccy!!

    Joe, any idea how much snow has fallen? I'm inside here & have no idea. I do know that coming to work at 2300 was NOT GOOD.
    I take Belmont Ave straight East & believe me, I NEVER saw 1 plow.Not 1; and the roads were like pie crust dough!!!!!NOT GOOD!!
    Hope you have better traveling to work today

    Good Morning!

    Grace I loved the video, and I can definately imagine how it would feel for an Aussie living abroad to watch that.

    My dog got me up at 5:00 to each (an hour early, still can't get the time right since the change) and I've been up ever since. I'm going to make a Walmart run before it gets crowded with the regular weekend shoppers on top of Xmas shoppers. Then I'll take a nap.

    I brought a plate home from a party I went to and I'm having ham, chicken wings and party finger food for breakfast.

    The cold front that is causing the ice and bad weather up north should be coming through soon bringing much needed rain and an end to our 80 degree days.

    Oh Tweety,
    How I could use a few 80 degree days!!
  12. by   Justhere
    Oh it's been so nice here, and that front came through and it is 30 degrees outside. That is just to cold for me. I like my 60's and 70's.
