  1. [evil]hee hee. welcome to sunday![/evil]

hope you mob are sleeping sweetly!
    but ......
wakey wakey! time to rise and see another day!
    :flowersfo

since tweety wasn't too fussed with saturday's breakfast, and in honour of siri's and my recent trips to hawaii, here's today's breakfast...........
fresh fruit. mangoes, pineapples, oranges, pawpaw, whatever your lil heart desires. choice of fruit of your own choosing.
yoghurt. fat free, of course! my choice is "wild strawberry".
cereal if you like. again, your choice but it must be 'light' and low fat.
toast. i fell in love with wheat toast during our trip "up/over". can't get it here in oz.
spread for the toast: jam, any kind (you call it jelly!) but preferably a fruity jam and low fat.
the above washed down with freshly squeezed orange juice, or apple juice, or pineapple juice, or...a juice of your choosing!
and... for those of us who must have our tea or coffee.......
    either one of your choosing!
hope you find something listed here to your liking!

about aussie bacon........... our bacon is light pink in colour, looks like the number 9, ie: has a 'head' and a 'tail'. the 'head' is pure meat. no fat apart from maybe a thin rind. hope this gives you some idea. sorry i can't post a picture for you to see a visual. 'our' bacon tastes yummy! you can cook it as crisp as you want, or only lightly enough to heat it through and draw out the flavour.

i see y'all (how'm i doin' siri? sounding like you yet love?!) are wishing for snow???!!!!! what funny buggers we humans are! here we've been wishing for winter to be over and to see some sunshine and feel the warmth of spring. and you mob are pining for cold weather!

ok, since my sunday is almost coming to it's close, i'll sign off and wish you a happy day once you reach today!!!! bwahahaha!
at least with me posting as i do, you know there's a future!!!

Good Morning Not all of us are wanting snow/cold weather. I hate winter. I get too depressed in the winter. But I will say it doesn't have to be sooo HOT either.

    Good Morning!

Grace I already have oranges, mango, papaya and kiwi here. Now I'm going to have to google "pawpaw" and find out what that is.

No wheat bread down under? That's all I eat. But it has to be 100% whole wheat. Many of the breads say "wheat" and it still includes a lot of processed flour because. The first ingredient must be "100% whole.........."

Today is more schoolwork and yoga class.

    Good morning, all.

Nothing much going on here today other than work and school work. I think we are going for a bike ride, too.

Kashi Go Lean or Go Lean Crunch are my favorites, too! I like to add blueberries, raisins or bananas (depending on the season).

I hope you all have a good day...thanks Grace for starting us off and I hope your shift turns out ok, Maryann. Have fun at Yoga, Tweety.

    cheers!

O.K. I googled "pawpaw" images and am a bit confused.

I've seen a few call this "pawpaw", which is like the papaya that I have (we also have the bigger ones around here too). The article that accompanies it say papaya is "pawpaw".

Then there's this which grows in the eastern US.

    good morning ya'll

thank you, gracie, for starting the good morning thread. i already miss the fresh pineapple. will pass on the pawpaw though. i never like those. a little special k for me today, thank you, with 1% milk.

i really don't want winter yet. i just hate the summer time so badly 'round here. it is truly miserable. just need some relief and willing it to snow for just a few hours is absolutely wonderful. i think if i try just a little harder i might get my wish. i'll try to keep it local since so many are in disagreement.

you have a great sleep and welcome your monday, gracie. yes, it is comforting to know that our future is always a comin'.

hi, tweety, jmg, rn2b, and mary ann!!! hope ya'll have a wonderful sunday.

i need some more java joe

That's right, Tweety - the bottom photo. A pawpaw is not a papaya in the least. I never could get close enough to a pawpaw tree to pick the fruit because of the smell surrounding the tree. Suffice it to say, my stomach is too weak to type here why.

    Coffee..........

I just got off work. Worked a 12. My feet are sore after my first night in my Birks. But no blisters like in the Merrill's. Those of you that told me about the Ivy-Dry didn't tell me it was mostly alcohol. Talk about pain! The girl and I were nearly in tears. But stopped the itch.
Here is a question for you. How many of you that have worked LTC did count with a CMA? I was always told that CMA's couldn't do narcs. Was it just the facilities that I was at? Just curious. Had a nice night though. Gonna try and get some sleep once this dang prednisone wears off.

Tweety Pawpaw is related to papya I tasted it and doesn't taste like fruit at least not to me, it had like a pumpkin flavor, and it does look alot like papya it has a different color.

Morning, all! Gonna get my 2nd cuppa soon. But where is the Coffee Cake?

BTW......"Native" uses IvyDry alot when he needs it; either you are sensitive to it, or he has a high tolerance for "pain". He has sworn by it through all his years in Boy Scouts.

Good morning everyone. Happy Sunday to you. Thank you, Grace, for the wonderful breakfast.

jmg, Mary Ann and Siri- I agree. No snow but a little cooler would be nice. A leisurely drive on a sunny, brisk fall day with a nice view of leafs turned yellow, orange and red. Cross over a stream under a covered bridge to get to an apple orchard that sells warm homemade donuts, pumpkins and hot apple cider with cinnimon stick stirrers. Yep. I could handle that.

Tweety- How did the art show go? I thought of you as I went to Tampa to pick up Ds at the airport. Even told my Dd of your evening plans and wished I could of been there.

rn2be- Not too much work and homework, I hope. Enjoy your bike ride. That sounds like more fun, to me.

LPN,RNNow- sounds like foot soak time. Then put your feet up while listening to some relaxing music. Sounds nice to me.
I've never had a case of poison ivy. Guess I'm immune. I had heard that Ivy Dry is the best stuff for it, though.
I know that med techs do the narc count at ALFs here. Doesn't compute at all with what I've been used to but what can you do if that's all the staff that's available? At least its done and the narcs are accounted for. But I'm not sure of the legality of it, though. I think it might be different according to each state's regulations. If it's federal regulations, I don't know why there are different procedures.

Hiya, SueB. That coffee cake sounds just fine to me. But I'll have a cold glass of milk or a nice cuppa tea with that. And tell Native to stay away from that nasty poison ivy. Not nice stuff to roll around in.

I hope everyone has a pleasant, God blessed day.

Good morning all! It is still morning isn't it? :spin:
Had a nice time at the party last night. Have an incredible headache. Vodka related I'm sure.

I'll be pretty much useless today as far as anything around the house goes. Having a cup of coffee (#1).
Will this do for a coffee cake?

    Time for more Advil!!!
