Mornin' y'all! (Tweety and those to follow....)

Our high is 60, with a low of 52. ...So not much difference in the day/night. At 60, I'm sure I'll freeze!....Could be worse, so I won't complain. :spin: It's suppose to be mostly cloudy, but maybe the sun will shine through enough to make it seem warmer & the wind won't blow. haha

Of course I'll be studying for tomorrow's Final....reading those chapters that I never got to read before. (Too many chapters, too much stuff to do!)

    Everyone have a great day!

Good morning Tweety and Fun and the rest of my allnurses fam. Almost ready to head out the door for work. According to the news, the flu is hitting FL hard right now. Had 2 more people call out in our care center leaving only 4 nurses to cover 3 units/26 patients. For the acuity we need at least 6 nurses. And all four that we have are our pool nurses. Aggghhhh! Welp, we can only do the best we can do, right? I hate to give those folk less than the very best. They deserve the best. Gotta go hustle out the door. You all have a wonderful beautiful Sunday.

Good morning, folks! Got the tree but once again, it is too big for the stand! We will have to do a little trimming of the trunk before we can get it put up today. DD had a blast in South Pacific, as did all the cast, and the two leads were just amazing, especially considering they are only sophomores. I don't have a picture of DD's costume yet cuz the batteries went dead, darn it!

Fun, good luck on your exam!

Marilyn, sorry to hear the flu is hitting there. Your best is all you can do!

Good morning, aimeee. I hope our tree trunk isn't too large for the stand. I tired to get dh to purchase a new stand. Maybe he will when we go to pick up the tree this week.

Yes, want to see piccys of your dd. Have a wonderful Sunday.

    Hallo, jmgrn. Whatcha doin' today??????

    Good morning, everyone!

I have studying to get to, but I wanted to pop in and say hey! We have only one more class of algebra instruction, then a review day and then the final. How quick was that??? And in three weeks, I won't remember any of it...

There's beautiful, bright, warm sunshine outside today, but the temp is supposed to hit only in the mid to high 40's. I suppose that's unseasonably warm for this area at this time, but I like it. I don't mind snow, really, as long as it comes on Christmas Eve and goes away the day after New Year's. Other than that, I really have no use for it.

You all have a great day!

    Peace!

    Mornin', Don.

Not as cold here either. Supposed to rain this week, too.

Yup, algebra went by very quickly. Good luck with the final.

    I don't know what you're talkin' about...!

Lord, how did I let that happen? I went back and edited it, thank you for telling me!

    What's on your agenda today?

A quick "Good Morning" to all, before I gear up. I have to get household things accomplished before 1pm, as we're scheduled to do some jazz Christmas music at a little park in Redlands @ 2pm, then leave @ 3:30 to drive up to Oak Glen to help w/bluegrass music/Christmas music @ a friend's church dinner.

I would have done the household stuff (laundry, groceries) last night, but we drove 40 min to THE bluegrass jam of all bluegrass jams, in Claremont!! It was the SWBA (SouthWestern Bluegrass Association)'s big Christmas potluck and jam, and there were some AWESOME, AMAZING musicians there!! And we got to be in the same room with them!! Dh was up to playing w/them, too, and loved every minute of it! I played a little rhythm guitar, but then they got really technical, and while it was EXCITING to watch and hear what they did, I couldn't keep up at all. Ended up just listening, which was fine by me! Pat Cloud was there (reknowned for his jazz playing on the 5-string banjo, which is dh's specialty), -- Steve Rosenstein on fiddle (he picked up my guitar to play a riff for someone in the room, and I was so excited he played it!!), and then another banjoist, Billy (with an English accent), Dave the chromatic harmonica player, and a fabulous guitarist whose name I haven't a clue!

Mind you, this group jamming was one of FOUR in the house!! Ppl jes' pickin' and a'grinnin'!!! We left about 12:30, and some were still going . . . I'm sure the players in our group are all professional, and have recorded . . . sorry, am just basking in the afterglow here . .

Well, gotta get going, oldest has a choir program and has to be at the school to catch the bus @ 0900.

Y'all have a good day, will check in later!! --- D
