Stormy Got Adopted!!

  1. :hatparty: :Melody: Stormy, the Mama cat I took in last August, had 5 kittens, fought w/my other cat, etc., you remember the story. Well, I just called the animal shelter because I didn't see her picture on line any more, and they said she'd been adopted!!!

I'm soo happy! I was really worried that she'd languish there forever, but somebody took her home. I hope she has a happy life w/her new family. What a relief!!

Congratulations to Stormy, but kudos to you, my friend.

Not everyone will take pity on an animal when it is easier to turn your back.

Thank you, from another animal lover.

That is good news for sure! All my animals are shelter animals.

So are mine...... (even the fish are rescues--they were feeder goldfish!)

That is great news. Here in our city, if a cat or dog is not adopted within 14 days it is put to sleep.. so happy your furry friend has a new home.

So glad to hear she has a new home.

Did anyone see on the news about a woman who paid $50K to have her cat cloned? And they did it.

How many homeless animals could that money have helped? Some people have too much money and are just plain nuts.

Oh, yes, heard of her? She was on the local news tonight--and she lives here!

I have often said people in our county have too much money. Tonight I'll add, "and too little sense."

Sad--so much need in the world, including little homeless animals (not to mention humans--some will freeze to death this very night).

I had a "hold" on her: if, for some reason she became 'unadoptable', they would call me before euthanizing. And that shelter doesn't routinely euthanize animals. So I was fairly safe there, but I just wanted her to have a home!!
