Spouse/signif. other nickname...?

  1. Okay, we've all gotten so heated and ugly around here lately....let's have some fun, shall we?

What's your nickname for your spouse/partner/girlfriend/boyfriend?? C'mon...you KNOW you have one...

I call my hubby 'bird.' Started calling him sweetie, then tweetie, then tweetie bird, now just bird. Yep. Sick and sappy.

Gag and then tell us YOUR cute-sy nickname!!!

I usually call her "hey" as in, "hey get me another beer" "hey whens dinner gonna be ready", "hey, where the hell is that beer!?!". Somtimes i call her Jesus Christ, as in "Jesus Christ woman, where the hell is that beer i ordered" or "Jesus Christ, you know i hate this crap why did you make if for dinner". Occasionally i call her "Dammit All" Damit all, you made this crap for dinner again" "Dammit all where are my scrubs?!?" "Dammit all where the hell is that beer" Romantic isn't it.

I call my Husband "Babe" or "Doll" because those were the nicknames he called me when we were dating and I initially was offended by that. However, now 27 years later, both names are DEFINITELY terms of endearment in our house!

My fiancee and I call each other Honey. It's so engrained in us after 10 years that it seems foreign for either of us to call the other by our first names. THAT is reserved for when we're really pissed off at each other. :-)

From day one my husband has always called me "huzzy". It's just a pet name but it sure can get some interesting responses from other people.

A few years back I did some prn work at a nursing home where he worked as a CNA (yes, we actually work well together) and I said something and he looked up and said "you huzzy". Well you could have heard a pin drop..I'm not sure what everyone around expected but they sure didn't expect both of us to crack up laughing at the looks on their faces.

Now if I really want something I'll say "Oh Jim, darling, dear, light of my life" but usually I just call him "putz" P.S. he's a "six foot four, twohundredsixty pound WOP" (his words)

    ok, let's see.
I call him Weißer (he was whiteblond, now he is cemetryblond)
and he calls me Häschen (that's pronounced haesggggen or something like that, it means bunny)

But after 16 years of marriage I say Eierkopf, because he can behave like a 5 year old. (Eierkopf means egghead)

we call our daughter Pips, since the day she was born. don't know why.

    Take care, Renee
