Sports Fans??

  1. AHHH this is my favorite time of the year! Actually, it was so nice outside yesterday! We are not in the 90's but the 70's!!! I look forward to FALL all year long.....football and hockey, those are my two favorite sports to watch and now that the kids are getting older they watch with hubby and I and it is a lot of fun! We, (PennState) won the season opener Saturday...that has not happened in a while. I am trying to get tickets so that I can go to a game since this is my last year at psu. (keeping my fingers crossed)
So, how about all of you?? Do you like to watch sports or play sports?? Which ones??
    Share please!!!!!!!!!!

Since my hubby is from PA...he roots for any sport team from PA.
While he likes football...sometimes basketball...always bowling...I like Gymnastics, Volleyball, Golf, and Ice Skating.

I'm more of a basketball fan than I am football, and have always enjoyed watching the pros on the Utah Jazz team play.

I do love the start of football season, college that is! Even from the tv, you can just feel the excitement. I haven't been to a game in couple of years. I like the excitement and unpredictability of college ball.

I cheered for basketball in hs, so it's pretty dear to my heart too...and it's hard to just stay in my seat when I'm watching a game :imbar

    I come from a divided Purdue/IU family...need I say more?

Tough times in our house--when Penn State plays USC. ( went to Penn years ago, USC later, son went to USC, now, that he's out of college, football games aren't as much fun as they were when he played-even though he played in the band-he used to give the FB coach a hard time "what is the FB team doing on the Band Field??"

Hubby likes the Eagles-he played on their fame team at 19, never went any further.
We don't have a major league FB team in LA anymore-deepest sympathies to the homee of the Raiderrs and Rams.

Like gymnastics, the little one is a gymnist for Special Olympics and will actually get to compete this year. He's an OK athlete, but SO excited about it.

Of course, there's our Dodgers and Lakers, can't say too much more about them!! They rock.

    Mustn't forget the Sparks-our woman's Basketball team.

And our hockey teams, the Kings,

We are Steeler fans and even bigger Penguin fans. We go to as many Pens games as possible.
We also watch college football but (sorry Gator) we are big Pitt fans!!! Too bad they aren't playing each other nothin better then the Pitt Penn State game!!:spin:
