Well, the article specifically says soy sauce is safe, so, I'm good.

My dear hubby was fed soy milk as a baby....and goat's milk....

I don't get this obsession with homosexuality amony some religious leaders. How about healthcare missions, feeding the hungry, and so many good works?

...In 1984 Heino Meyer-Bahlburg, a neurobiologist at Columbia University, analyzed the results of twenty-seven studies undertaken to test the theory. According to Meyer-Bahlburg, a score of the studies in fact showed no difference between the testosterone or estrogen levels of homosexual and heterosexual men. Three studies did show that homosexuals had significantly lower levels of testosterone, but Meyer-Bahlburg believed that two of them were methodologically unsound and that the third was tainted by psychotropic drug use on the part of its subjects. Two studies actually reported higher levels of testosterone in homosexual men than in heterosexual men, and one unhelpfully showed the levels to be higher in bisexuals than in either heterosexuals or homosexuals...

Is this article "for real"?? I have a pretty open mind but I question the findings. Both my brother and me were raised on soy milk (as infants) due to allergies. My kids got some soy, never cows milk. I see absolutely no problems with any of us!!! Also, the milk allergy goes further back in our family so I know they didn't get cows milk. Too often, "this" or "that" causes cancer, diabetes or whatever only for the public to be told years later that NEW research has been done and different results were found. Good grief. Donna

He has a BA and MA in English. I don’t know why he writes authoritatively on a question which physicians, psychologists, and scientific researchers agree has not been answered.
    Jim Rutz

The Atlantic Monthly article shows that scientific study does not prove his assertion. He has an interesting theory. That is all.

Just strange that the author doesn't list any citations for the evidence he mentions.

He used to sell Amway, the self published a book, now has a church and makes LOT$ as a motivational speaker.

I think it is his belief. Not scientifically proven.
    Interesting theory though.

I am stunned. It all comes down to a plant. How simple. So then, why are women gay? Getting a little shot of JD in the milk bottle?

    This is bunk

My sons best friend is gay. I know he was never bottle fed. He was breast fed by his mother, me, and another childcare provider until he was three years old.

I made soy burgers but he wouldn't eat them. He has many allergies. Once I was cooking shrimp and he threw a toddler tantrum, hitting me and crying.
A year later when he was tested the report said, "Shrim - Could be fatal."

He is now 6'4", a nice man, and my friend. Actually I see him more than I do my own son. Sometimes he tells me what my own kid is doing first.
My DH is like a father to him.
