And I'll be starting in Jan and you made me laugh so hard because I'm MONTHS away and I'm nervous. You'll do great, funnel that crazy energy and come out of the gates running.

I start on the 21st as well, and I'm just as nervous as you!! On one hand I can't wait for that day to come, but on the other, I wish it would take awhile so I can prepare some more (like the last 4 years hasn't been long enough!!). We'll get through it though. Just remember, you aren't the only one!!

I am still waiting to be accepted. I love reading posts like these because it is like peering into my future.

Anyway, I hear you won't stop feeling nervous until you get used to being in the program (or used to a particular clinical site) and it becomes old-hat. So, enjoy the experience... I hear it is nothing like the work place! Take care.

    Look better now?

And butterflies are good. You should feel nervous and by the time you graduate and take your licensing exams - you should be properly terrified!

    You CAN DO IT!

I agree with Roy. I've been out of school for 4 years and there are still times when I feel butterflies (usually when a code is called).

I'm sure you will do fine. Just remember, everyone else in the class probably feels the same way. And don't be afraid to ask questions. The only stupid question is the one that you don't ask.

Best wishes, and keep us informed.

Oh I remember how that felt. One day at a time was never more applicable than it was when I was in nursing school. It was like 2 years of boot camp (and I was military). But oddly, I really, really enjoyed it, too! Learned SO MUCH. One day at a time.
