So many ol' familiar names.....

  2. And so many more new ones!!

It is really great to be able to be back on this wonderful board. I really did miss it.

A lot has changed since my last post--what about 2+ years ago. I have an amazing little girl, Kacie Paige, who is now 20 months!! Have a new house, car, blah, blah

So many things have happened to keep me away from here. And now that I am able to sit and take a deep breath that each and everyone of you could have helped me through so many things as you have before.

About 2 weeks post partum I began experience post partum depression, no intrest in anything. I would just sit and hold my daughter and cry because I wasn't able to enjoy her like I wanted to, like she deserved. I started on Wellbutrin 6 weeks after my daughter was born. I did want to take any medication, I felt like a failure. It worked great though. A 100% improvement.

In July I found out my husband had an affair. That was the most horrible experience I have ever been through. After alot of counselling, we are making it. There are still bad days, but the good overcome. There are so many other details to that that I will not bore you with now. And would love to talk to any of you about, whether you want to give encouragement or get it.

I am still working on my renal unit, I am considering an ANM position when it opens up. Due to budget cuts it has been pushed to the back burner. I am working on my BS in Health Care Admin through a home study program.

Again it is great to be back.
    I missed you all!!

Welcome back!!! I hadn't joined when you were here earlier but it's fantastic that you are here. This board, as you well know, is a wonderful place to be. Congrats on all of your successes and on your growth. Oh! Your daughter is ABSOLUTELY precious! :-)

Misti!!!! I am soooooo glad to see you're back with us.........and what a cute little girl you have!

It's always good to know that folks haven't just dropped off the face of the earth when they quit posting. We lost quite a few 'old members' a couple of years ago, and I for one still miss them although a lot of wonderful newer people have joined us during that time.

Good to have you among us again. You've done very well with the lemons life has handed you, and I'm sure your 'lemonade' will be that much sweeter for having gone through those experiences and come out on the other side a stronger woman. CONGRATULATIONS!! AND WELCOME BACK!! :hatparty: :Melody:

Hi Misti...welcome back...what a gorgeous child! Congrats...and hope things continue to go well in your marriage. An affair can sure make or break a marriage...in mine we each forgave an affair once...just 'one chance' in this area....and never strayed since.

I honestly in retrospect believe the forgiving of each other, and growing together in spite of the imperfections, is what made MY marriage so strong...and I hope it does for you as well.
