It came up recently that people did not realize that we had snow fields here in Australia
It is now winter here - we are expecting quite low temperatures over night - getting down to the zero degrees - remember that we work in centigrade- l cant convert that any more - We rarely get snow in the city/rural area that we live - however we do have a lot of snow fields around the mountain areas of Victoria and NSW (also l believe there maybe some in Tasmania and l know there are some in NZ) - please add links for interested people
Anyway for those who may be interested here is a couple of links to snowfield around us
(Even if you don't think you would travel or enjoy the snow have a look to see what we have - we are not ALL sun and beaches)
Hope you find this inviting and another choice for a holiday \
(PS you wouldn't catch me skiing - don't know how - One broken leg in a life time is enough)

I so want to visit your land.....
maybe some day. The people and geology/geography of Australia are a never-ending fascination for me. Thanks for sharing.
