    I stuck it, Suz..

Now, about where to stick this book...
You didn't like the book? I mean, I'm sure it won't win a Nobel Prize or anything, but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I thought it was a little slow, but it did pick up. I think with the added stress I was experiencing this holiday season, I was living a little vicariously through Luther and Nora.

I thought it was a great little book.
I found parts of it QUITE amusing, especially the ending! I read it last year.

I could picture myself going on that cruise, no tree, no presents,no cookies, just me and my man. Of course that is where the fantasy begins which man would I take. I loved the place where every thing stared going haywire the, OMG, what will my daughter and her new doctor husband-to- be think. How true, we have to keep up our image in front of the kids. The neighbors were sooo pushy, that snowman thing was funny to try and picture in my mind, especialy the part where he fell off the roof. It sounded like a National Lampoon take off to me.I liked it though. It was a fast read ,but nice and light hearted.

I liked it okay, but it was not Grisham's norm and I am a BIG Grisham fan, so it left me disappointed. I found it a bit slow at times, but did find the ending pretty kewl. I liked it enough that I passed it on to my sister and suggested she read. I read it BEFORE christmas..after Christmas was over, the whole plot sounded wonderful!

I liked it too. I agree, it was slow to start but ended up a good read. I must admit, I was sorta disappointed it ended like it did...I wanted to see the cruise happen. Those neigbours were toooo pushy!!! That whole "borrowing" of the Xmas tree and falling off the roof though, was so funny
Yeah, I was mad that they wussed out on the trip.

What a waste of a tan and a diet.

I agree very S-L-O-W to grab my interest. I really didn't start enjoying it until the call fro the dtr.

Falling off that roof and dangling by a rope was toooo funny!!!

I loved the ending. I was shocked they gave the trip away, but touched by who they chose to give it to, it was really sweet. And what great people their neighbors turned out to be, from the B-bvusters they started out as!!

I thought the competition between neighbors with the frostys was really interesting. The fact that even the kids were into it. Sometimes kids and parents on a totally different pages. I thought it was an easy read. I loved it.

I read it back in October I think, anyway, was a while ago, and can't remember much of it. I do know that I liked it, and it was an easy read, which I like. Read it in like 3 days or something. The neighborhood competition definitely made it interesting, and I agree that it got much better once the daughter called and they went about frantically trying to get their party together. But I cant imagine who would actually spend that much on CHristmas!!! I went way in the hole and didn't even begin to come close to that!!!

I liked it. Read it last year. Different from all the Grisham law mysteries, as was A Painted House. I liked that too. He needs to write some more, because I've read all his stuff and I'm ready for more!

    A nice quick light read.
