Second Year of Drought in the Amazon?

    I don't know if it's true but I certainly wouldn't be surprised.

    Scientists for years have warned that cutting down the rainforest would lead to problems like this. After all the reason it's a rainforest is because of all the vegetation. People have been cutting down trees by billions of acres to farm or just to sell the trees.

    The farms that replaced the forests have mainly proven to be poor producers.

    I really hope the Amazon does not go the way of the Middle East which at one time was very lush and fruitful.
