    Hi To All!!

    Good Morning

I'm at work and so far it's been busy, but not so much for me. Luckily, I'm not Charge tonite, so that helps. We've had 2 admits all ready; I'm next up.
    Well, I'm ready.

Well, I thought I'd bring some breakfast for a bit later. How about some nice home-made french toast; & warm syrup to pour over. Also some bacon & sausages to go with that. I do make a "mean" french toast actually!!
    A little vanilla & cinnamon--tastes WONDERFUL!!

I have a hair appt. for the morning. Hopefully I'll actually get there this week. Last week I cancelled!!

I still have some gifts to buy, but I guess I'll get them eventually.
I work the whole weekend & am off Mon. nite.

We have a party planned for Sat. nite here & I'm bringing Popeye's Chicken & potato salad. Of course you know that whenever we plan a party, it's busier then ever!! well, I hope it will work out!!

    Well, better run
    Enjoy breakfast
You all have a wonderful day!!

Only working Saturday this weekend cause of last exam on Monday.....had my last clinical yesterday, and that was a relief...all went well, and I received an excellent "clinical evaluation" from my instructor, which made me feel good! LOL!

    Good Morning y'all -

Sue, looks like you get out of making breakfast. I'm gonna have some of Mary Ann's French toast, sausages and bacon.

Cariad, love the new avatar photo. Think I could manage to roast at the beach as well. Sounds wonderful. Do you not get to choose where you want to go next? Or have you just not decided yet??

Mary Ann, would you make my bacon crispy please? Weren't you gonna cut back on working full time? Enjoy your hair appt. in the morning.

Anna, so...forget the Bronte sisters - was my doggie named for where you live, or do you live in the place named after my doggie? In either case, it is a beautiful place.

Julie, can feel the relief in your post at having finished clinical, and just one more exam to take. What subject? Don't work too hard today!

Dh is sleeping, as he has to work OT today. Doggies are here in the den with me - one sleeping and the other 'washing'. Cat is outside after having diarrhea in my closet. What did I do to deserve that??
Just took a couple of Dilaudid so the burn pain is subsiding, for the moment - thank goodness. Funny how the Vicodin and Percocet made me feel so loopy and hard to keep my eyes open, but the stronger Dilaudid takes the pain away, without the loopy feeling.
Oh, yesterday I got the 3 CD set of Christmas carols I'd sent away for. After researching and getting opinions from this site, ordered this set and it looks great - all the old favorites, including Ava Maria, which I love. Haven't had a chance to listen to it yet, but hope it sounds as good as it looks.

Actually think I'll go listen to it now. See y'all later, and hope we all have a great weekend!

    Hi

Still have an hour a half left to shift. Oh my; Have not gotten that 3rd admission, --knock on wood!!!

Weetzie--is there any other kind of bacon besides crispy????
Now Weetzie, How did you get this burn?? Tell me if I'm too nosey or did I miss it on the thread one of those days when it was super long?? I can't believe the pain you must be in! Have you been able to work??
I'm surprised that the dilaudid does not make you as loopy as the others.
The vicodin sure does make me loopy!! That's why I can only take it once a day. i take it just when I get home from work in the morning & then it is completely worn off by the time I have to go back to work at 11 PM.

By the way, I did cut my hours to 72 hr/ pay period.

The CD's sound like they might be good. I had planned to send for 2 CD's to add to our collection, but I never did---IL DIVO's Christmas Album and also Diana Krall's (sp?) Let me know if yours were as good as you expected.

You all, I make a stuffed french toast casserole that is super good & super decadent!! One day I'll whip one up. I make it when we have overnite guests.

Well, got some work to do here
    See you all later, again

    Good morning everyone

I'm curled up in my studying chair working on my mini-semester course. (History 1301). Boston Tea party, what what! I haven't posted down here to the break room threads before, so a warm hello to you all. I'm a pre-nursing student attending school in East Texas. I have two children, two step-children (that do not reside with us), a husband, a mother-in-law, four cats, and one dog. Originally a yankee from Penn., relocated down here to East Texas about 5 years ago.

I'm trying not to be grumpy, as yet again my dear husband woke me up with .... :angryfire snoring :angryfire It's a nightly saga. One that makes me very tired, lol.

But shoot, I have to say I'll take the snoring husband over the cat with runny pooh, weeziebat. :chuckle

    Anyways, g'mornin to ya'll.

    Good Morning!

Mary Ann, I'll have your french toast if you don't mind.
I have the Il Divo and the Diana Krall Xmas albums and they are pretty good, especially Diana Krall. I "only" got five new Xmas records this year those two, Anita Baker, Brian Seltzer Orchestra (the best of the bunch), and Windhim Hill's (sp?). I actually prefer the instrumental Christmas CDs I have this year for some reason.

Best wishes to the students still finishing up.

    Have a great day.
