Every barbie I owned I cut it's hair. I also decapitated it a few times. LOL

When we were little, My sister and I noticed that our barbies had no nipples. So we drew them on with brown crayon. Thank goodness we didn't think think of the fact that they had no pubic hair!

We did cut their hair - but our brothers were responsible for the blowing up, skydiving and pond sinking expeditions which Barbie and her friends thought of as Fear Factor I'm sure!

Anyone else get bothered by the fact that Ken was never anatomically correct?

The sad thing is, you think you're giving Barbie a nice little pixie haircut but she ends up looking like a punk with bad hairplugs.

My sisters and I cut our Barbies' hair, pierced their ears, drew on permanent makeup with ink pens, and dressed them in ballgowns made of toilet paper.

Now piercing Barbie's ear, that always turned out well, for some reason. I was never brave enough to cut hair, though.

I never attempted cosmetic improvements. My mother would have killed me for something like that.

... But the head did come off! .... but that was an accident ... I swear!

And yes, I thought Ken was kind'a creepy.

I always ruined their hair. See, I had short, brown hair a kid - I looked like a boy! So I was insanely jealous of my Barbies. First I'd spend weeks and weeks playing with that golden hair. Braiding it, brushing it, styling it. Then I'd wash it and it would get all gross. Then I'd try curling it with a real curling iron and it would melt. So in the end, they all ended up with crewcuts.

My daughter would always bite her Barbie doll's feet until they wouldn't fit in their "shoes" anymore.
