  1. Just got a call from a friend who reminded me that it's fall back time again! I had completely forgotten ... so I thought I'd share the reminder.

Yaaaaayyyy! I love to fall back and hate to spring forward. I think I need to move to a state where they don't have Daylight Savings Time.
I'm soooooooo looking forward to that extra hour of sleep smack dab in the middle of 2 12-hour shifts!

Wow, do you guys get paid for the extra hour??? Here that doesn't happen...when it goes forward you also don't lose the hour's pay though. You just hope you work when it goes forward and don't when it goes back

Not here in most of Indiana. Our clocks stay the same all year round, except for a few counties. Lake & Porter counties up near Chicago and the five most southwest counties fall back into Central Standard Time. The counties near Cincinnati stay on Eastern Standard Time, so they will also move their clocks back tonight. The rest of us just hang out in Eastern Standard Time all year round. Growing up in Evansville, changing the clocks was just part of life. Now that I am near Ft. Wayne, we stay the same time every year.

And we wonder why Indiana is still a "hick" state???

Here in Southwest Michigan one often hears the question "What time is it in Indiana?" The answer depends on just where in Indiana you are going and when.

    Ahhhhh I can POST! Whewwwwwwwwwwwww
I hate the time change thing! Why can't we just keep it the same time all year round?
I worked doubles every weekend for over 8 years! This time change wasn't bad but it's the spring one... So you get off at 11:30 pm and drive home, (an hour away at that time) plus you stop off for a little snack on the way, then it's 1:30 am but now you had to spring forward! So it was 2:30 and your alarm was gonna go off at 5:00 so you hit the snooze for almost an hour and think you are WAY fortunate!
Thank god those days are OVER!

    I agree with Giuseppe.
I don't think they should change it at all. It's senseless to have that extra hour of daylight in the morning. I'd rather have it in the evening when I could use it.

I forgot, it was a good thing that I read this or I would have been on my way to work about right now instead of playing.
