Lapsed Catholic here. Actually, I no longer follow any organized faith tradition, being more of a spiritual person than conventionally religious. I just don't think God can be confined to one church, or one set of beliefs.......otherwise, why would there be so many? I also feel that all faiths, including the Eastern religions and Wicca, have something to offer; all of them encourage us to believe in something or Someone that's bigger than ourselves, and to strive to become better human beings.

I've studied many, many religions, and for me the answer is to take what's relevant to my life as I grow in my own relationship with God, and leave the rest. And if it turns out I'm wrong about all this, I trust God enough to forgive my ignorance and straighten me out Himself.

Really well said, I have known so many people of so many different faiths, and they do all have something to offer...all of them have different perspectives on things, none neccesarily wrong or right - just different viewpoints

    I am a Christian
-no specific denomination, as long as they are biblical... currently attending a Church of Christ/Christian Church church and really like the simplicity of it... the congregation is really small, only about 100 members including children and it is really like a family. No gossip, back stabbing etc.... people have a genuine concern for each other and a great love of God. I am really blessed!

What's up w/this comment? Seems kinda disrespectful to me. You start a thread asking about people's religions, then make a comment like this???

Christian, with green leanings. Presbyterian by membership, but find myself moving more and more towards agnostic every day (scary). I find the older I get, the more skeptical I get...

Agreed. I guess Christians weren't supposed to reply to the OP's thread.
I'm a Christian and proud of it!
