We need rain desperately here. Extremely dry, worst drought in years, bushfire season is gonna be a bad bad one..has already started.

prmemrs....maybe you could come wash your car here?

Sure, no probelm, send me the ticket. :roll

It ALWAYS rains whenever I wash my car. ALWAYS.

And prmenrs... It didn't even rain enough to actually SOAK the car did it? My car was just a teensy bit dirty and the rain just made it all coalecse into bigger dirt blobs. A good soaking rain would've taken it right off.

Ooh, and it felt so dang nippy outside this evening. My thermometer read 50... and it might drop even more by morning! maybe to 49.

Seems like it's been raining here for weeks, but I guess it's only been a few days. The water in our yard was up even with the porch and running across the driveway yesterday morning. Never seen it get so high before. We were afraid we were going to flood. Good thing we have flood insurance, huh?

konni--neither krvrn nor I can relate to your situation!! :chuckle

But it is irritating when you spend $10 to go through the carwash, and 4 hours later the clouds spit on your car. And that's all it did, too, just spit. Then it did it again Sat am when I was trying to do some yard work w/electric power tools.

    I don't think there's a smilie for getting electrocuted!!

:angryfire I hate it when I finally get around to doing something, and Somebody throws a monkeywrench in the works!!

Spit is exactly the word for it isn't it? But it's going to be an El Nino year, supposedly. So maybe we'll get some rain to speak of this winter.

Just pray for NO rain on November 8th because that's my wedding day! It's an outside wedding at Sea World.

Congrats KRVRN on upcoming wedding.......I will pray for a nice day on the BIG day, but I sure hope that El Nino hits you hard, and often....and that the leftover soaks us in Az. This is the worst drought i have seen here in almost 40 years, our lakes are just puddles, need a good wet winter....
But, as El Nino brings us the wet stuff, doesn`t it make for more drought Downunder? If so, i`m sorry Aussies, I know you have had trouble with drought also, and hope your dry season doesn`t cause too much havoc there....Az. had it`s worst ever fire last summer with almost 1/2 million acres burned in 1 huge fire......

re: Sea World: forget about the rain, just avoid the sea gulls!!!

    Best Wishes, KRV!

I think El Nino makes for a drier east coast but I'm not sure about Australia. It would be their summer there anyway. Wouldn't want rain cramping their style outside.
