Quote for us all

  1. Heard a trucker say this as him and another guy were having a heated conversation re: 9/11 on the CB radio going down I-75:

"We may not agree and that is OK, but we have the right to our own opinion......but I will fight til the end for you to be able to voice your opinion." .......unknown

misti_z.....being the soldier that my husband is and all....he is often quoting the sentiments of that message. Many a soldier, airmen, marine, coastguard, and others would utter the very same words. Many of them have already sacrificed a great deal for each human being here in America to say what they want, even if our military forces object to what each one says.....fight they do....and fight to the end of their lives or the end of the war they will do. I salute each and every person in the military forces of our great nation, and thank them from the bottom of my heart for having made the sacrifices they have already made, are making today, and will continue to make in years to come. :kiss

Yep, that one has been around a long time. "I may not agree with what you say, but I agree with your right to say it." It is one of the basic tenets that this country was founded on-just worded differently! LOL!

Yuppers, totally (almost ) agree with the right of free speech.....EXCEPT....those durn idiots who object to the Pledge of Allegiance`s under god........They need a good old fashioned horse whipping.....IMHO.......
May God bless all our military, and police, firefighters...........They put their lives on the line so we can keep our freedoms, even to make a complete jacka$$ of ourselves, if that be our desires.

I remember hearing this but it was different:

"You have your opinion and I have mine.
We may not agree but I will fight to the end your right to defend your honor.
