Psychics, Spirituality, NDE's, ADC's Have you had any experiences and want to share?

  1. Hello Everyone!
Haven't been here for awhile and was missing you... so I thought it was time to post...

I hope this thread will not be offensive to anyone as it is definitely Not traditional religious teachings but it does mean something to me.

I just wanted to hear from a few old and new friends on this subject.

It is my hope that perhaps a few will share their own accounts and we can all discuss the topics with respect to one another.

Have you ever had any experiences with Psychics, Near Death Experiences or After Death Communications?

    My story:
I Lost a beloved friend, (and a friend to many of you too) during the past Holiday season... Obviously life has never, and will never be the same again! It got me to searching, thinking and researching these topics...
    -----------------------
    Regarding NDE's (near death experiences)

"It was during childbirth when I died on the table and suddenly my life flashed before my eyes and I just felt warm and good and wanted to stay where I was but I thought, who would take care of my children and then I was back!"
Stated by my Mother to me in the late 70's to early 80's about an experience she had in the mid 50's during childbirth.
    ------------
"You know I died last night... There I was floating near the ceiling watching the doctor and nurses rushing around working on me with pads on my chest and I thought, hey that's me! Then suddenly I was back in my body!"
This was stated to my brother by our father who was hospitalized in the mid 80's with complications of diabetes. My brother thought he'd dreamed it until at our dads funeral a year later he was approched by a man who recounted the story of how our dad coded a year earlier and that he was his roommate in the hospital at that time.
    ------------------
"When I had my motorcycle accident it was like I was floating way above it all and I knew that was me on the ground and I felt bad for all the people looking on because they were all in a panic but I was okay. I kept trying to say, hey I'm up here don't worry about me! Then all of a sudden I was PULLED to a doorway and there were these two massive doors in front of me. I stepped up on the stoop and when I grabbed the handle and started to open the door I heard a voice say, "It's not your time!" then the door was pulled from me and when I lost my grasp on the handle I fell backwards off the stoop and was back in my body and boy did I hurt!" I don't tell many people this because they say "you were out of your mind" but I know I wasn't out of my mind, I was out of my body!"
    ------------------------
Stated to me recently by a friend who wanted to share his story.

These are called near death experiences (NDE's) and though there are differences in some of the many accounts, (just as we are all living in the physical realm in much of the same way, but our lives are unique and different) The common thread in "most" NDE's is the feeling of Unconditional Love and still feeling like "I was still me" that was experienced during the NDE... today we bring people back from death all the time, is it so absurd to think that they might have experienced something beyond what we know and accept in the physical world?
    --------------------
    Regarding ADC's (after death communications)

"About a week after my husband died I was terribly sad and missing him when all of a sudden there he was! I said, what are you doing here and he told me, 'I just wanted to see how you were', I told him to come sit next to me and we talked for a minute and then he was gone? I know I didn't dream it because I wasn't asleep and I know it was not a fantasy, it was real! I never told anyone else this because I thought they'd think I was crazy, but you understand..."
Stated to me by a patient a few weeks ago describing an experience of what she believed to be a "visitation" by her deceased husband. I acknowledged her experience as being a 'gift of love' from the other side as she believed it to be. She passed away last week and I know she is with her husband again!

An ADC is characterized by seeing a loved one, hearing them, a smell that you associate to them, or even just a 'feeling' to name only a few characteristics.

Ever been to see a psychic, tarot reader, clairvoyant, spiritual advisor or the like?
(If any of you read this who know who I am talking about I would be curious to hear what you think of the following info)

(Clairvoyant will have "quotes" on his statements and the person being read will have *asterics* on their statements.)

    The Clairvoyant reading:

"Tell me the name of the person you want to know about and when they passed"...
I told the name and date only...
    "Was he your brother?"
    *No just a friend*
"No you were closer than friends, you were more like brothers because you were brothers in a past life"
"I'm feeling something in the chest... did he pass of something with the chest?"
    *pneumonia*
"No this was more like Pulmonary Edema and it happened pretty suddenly! You wll find that the cause of death was pulmonary edema!" The clairvoyant was very steadfast regarding this detail!
(autopsy report: hypertensive cardiac disease complications, verbal report was pulmonary edema)
"Two male spirits came to guide him away but he was reluctant to go because he felt like he wanted more time in this physical life and he didn't want to leave either a person or an emotional situation even said he thought his karmic debt had not been paid but when he did finally agree and was lead to the door and when it opened he even joked and said, 'are you sure I'm supposed to go through there?' and then he went through the door and it was closed"
"Was he an avid cyclist, like he rode a bike like all the time?"
*No, he never rode a bike?*
"I don't know why but I am having this very intense feeling of 'wheels' like he was always riding a bike?"
(The person in question used a wheelchair)
"Did he have some sort of brace to keep him sitting upright? I feel like discomfort in the back or neck."
    (harrington rods from spinal fusion...)
"I'm seeing a car accident... this was something recent but only with minor injuries..."
(was rear ended two months before)
"I'm seeing 3 graves like 3 people recently put to rest or it could be 3 situations?"
(3 people we both knew well recently passed away?)
    -----------------
The reading was pretty overwhelming as far as how much this person saw and how accurate the information was when he had no prior info other than a name and date of death... Was told much more but I've talked enough.
So anyone else have any experiences with clairvoyants?
    ----------------------------
    Spirituality:
    My personal beliefs...
I prefer to call the higher power, "God".
We are all a part of God.
We are 'gifted' a physical life for certain reasons:
*To have experiences that are conducive to spiritual growth, spiritual growth meaning to develope our ability to Love as God Loves, (and this includes self love).
*To help others with their spiritual growth.
    *To repay karmic debt.
I believe religion is a "vehicle" to get people going in a positive direction.
I do not believe in the concept of the devil but rather the concept of our own free will which in my opinion can be very capable of spiritual damage to others.
I do not believe in the concept of an "eternal hell" God is Love and the ultimate goal for all of us is to Love as God Loves and sort of be one big happy family! Who could be truly happy in Heaven knowing there were souls who were miserable for all eternity! The goal is not for a few but for all to be reunited in God's Light and Love.

    Any thoughts on the subject?

I haven't had any experiences like the ones you describe but I remember my Dad telling me about a time when every night he would wake in the middle of the night drenched in sweat this went on for two weeks and then his brother died .

Very cool post!! I love discussing this sort of stuff and am also a believer in all of the above mentioned subjects. There's actually a pretty cool site that I enjoy getting on from time to time, that you may also enjoy. It's ghostweb.com, and it has EVP's (ethereal voice projections) caught on tape from spirits. The people who run the site are science based paranormal researchers and travel the country recording and taking photos of ghosts. Pretty fascinating stuff! In my next life I will be a paranormal researcher! Louisepug

Good to hear from you, Guiseppe. I've missed you.

Yes, I've had a few so-called psychic experiences. I definitely believe in the continuation of the soul/being/essence of a person after the physical body is gone. I won't bore everyone reading this with my very strong beliefs regarding life and death and time, but if you'd like to talk about such things for personal reasons, pm me.

You might want to read The Afterlife Experiments by Gary Schwartz. It's a book about scientific experiments done by Dr. Schwartz in Arizona to determine whether the living and the dead can actually communicate with each other. I thought it was fascinating! He also has a website ---www.openmindsciences.com.

    Glad you're back. :kiss

A couple nights before my FIL died, I had a dream that he was gone. Then, the morning that he passed, the phone rang and I automatically knew what it was about and told my husband to answer it.

I've met a lot of people who have had ADC's (after death communications) and they say that the spirit will come to you in many different ways, you just have to be open and aware when it is a communication and not a coincidence...
One nurse that I work with told me of a few things happening when her husband died a few years back...
A lot of it had to do with things that require electricity, (energy) the lights going on and off, the furnace stopped working and the house got warm and stayed warm all night until she could call the repairman the next day. The tv changing channels...
Another girl lost her husband just a month ago, (one week after giving birth to their baby), she said her tv keeps changing channels too.
A channel changer in this life and still one in the next life... maybe... LOL!
Maybe it has more to do with the fact that the spirit world is made up of energy and this is the easiest way to communicate to us?

    Wow! That is something!
Before my father died in the 80's I was laying in bed like a few days before and it was pitch black in the room and right as I started to fall asleep I saw this really bright light like someone's headlights in the corner of my room and after a few seconds it went away... I was wide awake at that point!
Same thing happened before my mom died...

    YES!
I just finished Past Lives Future Healing and thought it was excellent!

So what about "Spirit Guides".... anyone ever see their Spirit Guide?

What about Angels... I had a psychic come to my home to do a reading and she told me that I was surrounded by Angels and that they were always with me watching over me every second of the day! My initial thought was,
So they see Everything :uhoh21: ... LOL
